MobiKlein is the femslash ship between Mobius and Klein from the Honkai fandom.
Canon[]
Klein was Mobius's lab assistant in the Previous Era after Mobius's former assistant, Blanca, resigned. With many members of the MOTH organization fearing or disliking Mobius due to her methods, Klein was the only person who truly understood Mobius. Klein was also willing to overwork herself for Mobius, explaining that it allows her to forget about her fear of the Honkai. This created a relationship where Mobius could assign Klein to do anything, from menial tasks to trusting Klein with aspects of herself that her other co-workers don't know. For instance, Klein would livestream feeding small animals since Mobius liked them even though they were afraid of her. Additionally, Klein always carried Mobius back home from investor receptions as Mobius got drunk easily. Those nights, Mobius would drunkenly sing and have Klein play games with her.[1]
During the emergence of the 10th Herrscher, Klein was one of the people put under its control. While influenced by the Honkai, Klein killed Mobius in her lab. Su saw the aftermath and restrained Klein from doing anything further. In that moment, Mobius, needing energy for her revival, unconsciously consumed Klein.[2] With Klein gone, Mobius turned more apathetic towards her other co-workers. Occasionally, she called Klein's name on instinct when she needed help, before remembering she is no longer around. In Klein's belongings, Nuwa found a handmade snake doll that was intended to be Mobius's birthday gift.[1]
Mobius created an ELF, an artificial life form, modelled and named after Klein. She hopes for the ELF Klein to live freely and follow her own will.

MobiKlein is a bit of a rarepair, though it is one of Mobius's more popular ships. Its popularity grew the the "Mobius's Lab" animated skit, as it not only showed the two's bond, but also had a CG in which Mobius blushed and held Klein's hands, which many felt looked like a romantic gesture.
With "cannibalism as a metaphor for love" being a fairly popular trope, fans see that MobiKlein fits the trope well. Mobius consuming Klein to revive herself could be seen as a representation of how much she relied on Klein.
Since the human Klein is not a well-known character, there have been some misunderstandings surrounding MobiKlein. Some mistake the ship to be between Mobius and the ELF Klein, which could make people uncomfortable since Mobius created her. There is also a misconception that Mobius and Klein are related due to their matching green hair.

Trivia[]
- Both are named after mathematical non-orientable surfaces, the Mobius strip and the Klein bottle. A Klein bottle is made from joining two Mobius strips.
- In the Japanese dub, Mobius's voice during the ELF KLEIN's death scene in Chapter 31 is shown to differ from normal, sounding like she is about to cry at times, highlighting how much Mobius cares for KLEIN.
- In Chinese and Japanese respectively, Mobius calls Klein "我的「理解者」" and "わたしの「理解者」", both meaning "my understander" or "my understanding person", which was translated into English officially as "the one who understands me".
