MobiMEI is the femslash ship between Mobius and Dr. MEI from the Honkai fandom.
Canon[]
Mobius and MEI were both leading scientists in the MOTHs, and organization dedicated to fighting the Honkai. Both used morally dubious methods when it came to achieving their goals. For MEI, her goal was to keep civilization alive by any means necessary, while Mobius wanted to evolve humanity.
Mobius was the one that recruited MEI,[2] having read MEI's research paper on quantum mechanics that she wrote when she was in high school. She deemed MEI to be one of the greatest minds the MOTHs have ever seen.[3] MEI was already aware of Mobius beforehand due to her fame in the academic sphere, surprised that Mobius was interested enough to come for an interview. Before her interview with Mobius, MEI was blushing uncontrollably. Mobius performed the interview quickly, first asking if MEI had a boyfriend, flustering the girl. Mobius then asked what MEI thinks of her research papers, to which MEI replies she's read all of them. She wonders why Mobius hasn't done a lecture in a long time. Mobius, having already given MEI her phone number, tells MEI that she can call any time if she has any questions. Mobius had one more question: would you make yourself an enemy of humanity if it meant a brighter future for humanity? MEI hesitated to answer at first, but when she looked at Mobius's eyes, the answer naturally came to her — she would. The rest of their interview was interrupted, though Mobius knew at that point that MEI was the person the MOTHS needed.[4]
The two also worked on Project STIGMA together. Mobius was the one who first proposed it, though MEI became obsessed, considering it humanity's only hope. MEI had Mobius revise the plan fifteen times, as MEI's vision of the plan changed every time she altered the definition of "purging the Honkai." Once, Mobius questioned whose side MEI is really on, and what she plans to achieve with Project STIGMA. MEI answered that she is on the side of civilization, and so by extension, the continued existence of humanity, even if it requires the sacrifice of individual lives.[5]

- In the "MEI (M)" and "Mobius: Ouroboros" stigmata, MEI and Mobius are shown to be using the same desk.
- Both characters' names are phonetically translated into Chinese using the character 梅. This is interesting as the word "mobius" is normally translated using 莫 (mò) rather than 梅 (méi).
