Monalisa is the femslash ship between Mona and Lisa from the Genshin Impact fandom.
Canon[]
Mona and Lisa are both very similar in a way. They also both have a voice line about each other, despite never once interacting. While they have also never interacted, Lisa is brought up in Mona's story quest. As Mona is describing the successor she is about to meet, The traveler and Paimon both agree how the description Mona gave sounds like Lisa. However, they were wrong, as it was Klee instead of Lisa.
As mentioned, they're very similar. Their hats are very similar, even almost looking the same. The two girls are also from Mondstadt, and they know many stuff regarding history.

In Lisa's voiceline about Mona, Lisa believes Mona is an excellent mage, despite the fact she's not apart of their Hexenzirkel. Apparently, the idea of their Irminsoul explorations and formal tea parties leaves her cold. In Mona's voiceline about Lisa, Mona talks about a Tempus Fugit, deriving it’s name from the hourglass and standing for knowledge. In this voiceline, Mona doesn't mention Lisa's name once. However, she is talking about how Lisa may die soon.

Monalisa is fairly popular within the Genshin Impact fandom. The main reason it is so popular is due to their ship name, “Monalisa”. Since their names together make Monalisa (the name of the famous painting), many people have decided to ship them either jokingly or romantically. Another reason they're so popular, is because of their similarities. Following with how popular the ship is, there is also a ton of fan art anywhere of them.
Monalisa rivals a couple of ships. For Mona, Almona, Monafischl, ScaraMona and Moqing. For Lisa, Jeanlisa, KaeLisa and LiZor. Even though they're fairly popular, AO3 doesn't have much fan fictions of them. To be specific, as of now there are less than 30 fanfics of them on AO3.
