Montcott is the femslash ship between Lucy Maud Montgomery and Louisa May Alcott from the Bungou Stray Dogs fandom.
Canon[]
Louisa and Lucy first met several years before the actual story takes place, when Louisa scouted Lucy for the Guild. It’s likely that Lucy holds a gratitude towards Louisa since she freed Lucy from the orphanage (considering how Lucy detested the environment and hated her life there.) Once, after Lucy messed up a mission with the Guild, Louisa covered up for her. After Lucy left the Guild, Louisa gave her a snow globe. It’s likely that they are still friends.
While Lucy was speaking with Kyōka and Atsushi, she mentions how, during their time in the Guild, Louisa never spoke much to anyone with the exception of Fitzgerald. She brings up about how Louisa had apparently never used her ability for herself, likely because she doesn't consider herself to be of any importance. Her expression is forlorn.
Lucy is 19 years old, while Louisa is 18. They share the same height. Their birthdays are also, coincidentally, just one day apart. Lucy's on November 30th, and Louisa's on November 29th. This makes them both Sagittariuses. Their personalities are mostly opposites, because Lucy is loud and brash and has a lack of respect for the world, while Louisa is extremely timid and shy. They both have blue eyes and wear a dress, and both include black in their outfit color schemes.

Montcott is a relatively unpopular ship in the fandom, due to the lack of interaction throughout the series. A much more popular ship for Lucy is AtsuLucy or LucyKyou. Despite this, there is a lot of fanart of the two already. On AO3, Montcott is Louisa's most written ship and Lucy's second most written ship, AtsuLucy being her most written. Stories portray them in a fluffy perspective. Sometimes, even bonding in their time shared at the Guild. The ship has over 90 works in the Louisa May Alcott/Lucy Maud Montgomery tag.
