Moonscout is the femslash ship between Sunny Starscout and Izzy Moonbow from the My Little Pony: A New Generation fandom.

Canon

My Little Pony: A New Generation

When she was still a filly, Sunny decided to send with her father an invitation to all unicorns and pegasi to tell them they had friends at Maretime Bay. Several years later, she meets Izzy, a friendly unicorn from Bridlewood. Obviously, this created chaos in the town.

Sunny decides to go against the sheriff Hitch (who is also a childhood friend) and releases Izzy from a trap. They hide at Sunny's home: the lighthouse. They both realize their own prejudices were not true. But Sunny learns that the unicorns had lost their magic.

They both go on an adventure to find out why it is gone and how to bring it back, making sure that they each don't get hurt. Their first stop is Zephyr Heights, where they meet princess Zipp, who is surprised that an earth pony and an unicorn are hanging out together. Sunny and Izzy are captured and send to the dungeon. Zipp frees them and tell them about the Crystals.

After getting the Pegasus Crystal, Izzy says that she is sad that the adventure comes to an end because she will have to say goodbye to all her newfound friends. That's when she reveals to everypony an invitation. Sunny recognizes it and Izzy realizes who send it.

Once at Izzy's cottage, Sunny asks her if she can make them fake unicorn horns. Izzy answers possitively and soon, they all have disguises. When Sunny challenges Alphabittle by betting the Pegasus Crystal against the Unicorn Crystal, Izzy and the others warn her.

When the group is separated, Izzy is one of the first to go back to Sunny. Later, when Sprout attacks them with his mecha, Sunny grabs Izzy, like Izzy saved her earlier before getting captured by the guards of Zephyr Heights.

My Little Pony Make Your Mark

Izzy wants to make a surprise gift for Sunny. She repairs Argyle's old lamp just in time for the festival. But the overall distrust of ponies between each other causes a storm that makes the magic go wild. Sunny dives into a magical black hole to save Posey and Windy. While the two comes back, it seemed that Sunny was gone. Izzy tries to reach her, screaming her name, and then, Sunny flies away from the hole, having a better control on her alicorn form.

For the time being, it's still is a new ship. But it seems to have several fans for those who have seen the movie. There was also fans who shipped them before the movie was out. For the time being, the shippers had been mostly doing fanarts, as the show wasn't out yet.
