Morticity is the het ship between Mortimer Mouse and Felicity Fieldmouse from the Mickey Mouse and Friends fandom.
Canon[]
Felicity, then known simply as Mrs. Fieldmouse, was introduced in the comic story Mickey's Nephews in 1932. Mortimer was introduced in 1936 in the animated short "Mickey's Rival." Both characters would then experience a lengthy absence from Mickey and Friends media, with Mrs. Fieldmouse only returning in the 1980s before undergoing a major design overhaul and name change in the 90s. Mortimer wouldn't return in animation until 1999 in Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas, though he would also appear in comics and be conflated with the character Montmorency Rodent.
The two characters have yet to meet or even appear in the same piece of media. They are known to have one fairly significant common acquaintance: Felicity's brother and Mortimer's on-and-off nemesis, Mickey Mouse. It seems unlikely that any acquaintance between the two brought about via Mickey would be a positive one, unless perhaps it occurred in a series such as Mickey Mouse Clubhouse or a work of similar tone. Presumably, Mickey and Mortimer's long-running antagonism would prompt Felicity to side with her brother once she became aware of Mortimer's disagreeable personality.
An alternative, and more interesting, scenario might involve Felicity and Mortimer meeting each other independently of an interaction with Mickey. Mortimer, often depicted as a womanizer, would doubtless be interested in Felicity. He is also known for the ability to be at least somewhat charming, occasionally competing for Minnie Mouse's affections with Mickey. In this situation, it would thus become a question of whether Felicity would be able to see through Mortimer's facade or if she would be taken in, if only temporarily. Naturally, Mickey's discovery of any ensuing friendship or relationship would add drama to the situation.
Fanon[]
Morticity has very little material, official or fan made, to its name. The relative obscurity of both characters and their lack of canon interactions doubtless serve as deterrents to any would-be shipper. However, there are a number of features of the two characters that make the possibility interesting. Mortimer and Felicity are both on the tall side for Mouse characters in the Mickey Mouse and Friends fandom, considerably taller than the better-known Mickey and Minnie. Felicity is also known to have named one of her sons Morty, which is often a shortened form of Mortimer and may indicate a fondness for the name on her part.
Of course, this fact could also potentially serve as a deterrent to any relationship, given the awkwardness of Felicity dating or marrying a man with the same name as one of her own sons who is not his namesake. Felicity is also canonically married to Morty and Ferdie's father Frank Fieldmouse, making a romantic relationship between herself and Mortimer unlikely. On the other hand, Frank has yet to make an actual appearance in any Disney media, Mickey Mouse & Friends or otherwise. This thus opens up the possibility for Felicity to be paired with other romantic partners. Whether the usually dislikable Mortimer would be one whom she would consider is up to individual fans.
