MoyuMiri is the femslash ship between Moyu Mashima and Miriam Hildegard von Gropius from the Assault Lily fandom.

Episode 2
Miriam shows up while Riri, Kaede, and Fumi are watching SoraKusu train and offers to take them to Moyu to learn more about CHARMS. Miriam and Moyu appear to be on very familiar and friendly terms already, with Miriam highly respecting Moyu.
Episode 3
MoyuMiri appear together halfway through the episode while Yuyu goes to confront a Restored Huge by herself. They explain to Riri how even though they’re from the Arsenal Division, they’re still capable Lilies who can fight the Huge. They’re not on duty, but Moyu is there to collect data on the Huge that just showed up. Observing Yuyu, they both agree that although Yuyu is incredibly skilled, she is still putting herself in danger by charging too far ahead by herself. They both go to meet Riri again after she gets thrown back by Yuyu, who has activated Lunatic Trancer. After a determined Riri goes off to try again at saving Yuyu, Moyu muses how she should’ve brought her CHARM with her, then gets startled by Miriam exclaiming that she wants to join in on helping Riri, too.
Episode 4
MoyuMiri have a very brief mention halfway through the episode. Miriam enlists herself into Riri’s legion after hearing about it from Moyu. Near of the end of the episode, when Moyu gets summoned by the academy’s acting chairman to give a report on her research, Moyu starts with a preamble about Miriam, calling her a “funny new 1st year in Arsenal Division” who speaks in an “old-fashioned” way just like the acting chairman does. She asks if the two might be related, but the acting chairman doesn’t know who Moyu is talking about.
Episode 5
Partway through the episode, an exhausted Moyu is shown to be lying on a bench, using Miriam’s lap as a pillow. Miriam comments on how Moyu has been working hard and Moyu shares how she’s been reporting information to the acting chairman every night lately. Miriam notes how Moyu still goes straight to work at her lab afterwards, and Moyu begins to ramble about all the ways that CHARMs, Magie, and Huge are connected. Moyu starts giggling about this while kicking her legs, and this prompts a comment from Miriam about how Moyu needs more sleep, which causes Moyu to then compare how Miriam speaks to the way that the acting chairman does. She calls Miriam “Gropi” while doing so, which confuses Miriam, then flusters her when Moyu reveals that she’s talking about Miriam while pointing at her. Later, Moyu and then Miriam are sought out by Yuyu when Yuyu is trying to figure out what to get Riri for Riri’s birthday.
Episode 7
Miriam goes to visit Moyu at her workshop. Moyu calls Miriam by “Gropi” again, which she claims is a cute nickname, but Miriam disagrees and calls it creepy. As Moyu starts rambling about how many arms an octopus CHARM should have, Miriam quips that Moyu is being overworked. Moyu continues talking about how CHARMs, Lilies, and Huge are all related to Magie, but she doesn’t know much about human hearts and so is grateful for Riri’s help with that. Miriam starts at the mention of Riri’s name, wondering why Riri is involved again, and Moyu reveals that this time Riri is part of what she is studying since Riri is who had made first contact with the mysterious girl. Miriam realizes this must be a serious study if Moyu has been assigned to it, then wonders if Moyu should even be sharing this information with her. Moyu startles at this, realizing that this was all supposed to be confidential, but Miriam reassures her that she won’t tell anyone about it. Nonetheless, Moyu cheerfully threatens to use any means necessary to ruin Miriam’s life if she does tell, displeasing Miriam.
Episode 8
During one of the Battle Competition’s rounds, Miriam activates her Rare skill Phase Transcendence to take the win. The skill completely depletes her of her Magie, however, and Miriam passes out on the spot. While lying on the couch of Team Hitotsuyanagi’s room with a towel over her face, Miriam is visited by Moyu, who comments on her “flashy finish.” Moyu then happily tells Miriam that she’d set everything up for Miriam’s upcoming exhibition match herself, but Miriam explains that since she’s out of Magie, she’s done for the day. This upsets Moyu, who yells at Miriam that she’d prepared so much for today, and Miriam yells back an indignant apology, before saying that there must at least be someone else who can take on the match. The match is soon revealed to supposed to have been a special match between Miriam and a Huge-roid that Moyu made for her research. Mai signs Yuri up in Miriam’s place, but Moyu arrives too late to stop the match from starting. When asked by Yujia if it’s set up for the Lily to win, Moyu instead happily reveals that she’d actually tuned it up to take down Miriam no problem, her expression immediately falling as she realizes what this means for Yuri. Next to her, Miriam is horrified, asking what Moyu had planned for her. Moyu gets defensive at this, calling her Huge-roid a “Mecha Rumpelstiltskin,” and Miriam gets even more incensed at the fact that Moyu had even named it. After Yuri destroys the Huge-roid, Moyu laments her creation’s destruction while Miriam tells her to get over it before walking away.
Episode 10
After a few days of Team Hitotsuyanagi trying to find Riri’s hair tie by combining their Rare skills, Miriam tells Moyu about it while Moyu works at her workshop. This interests Moyu, but Miriam is exhausted, saying that she won’t last if she keeps using Phase Transcendence every day, only doing so for Riri’s sake. Hearing this, Moyu tells Miriam to go to sleep instead of coming to her workshop then, but Miriam is reluctant to, revealing that she’s worried after seeing how Yuyu’s reacting to Riri’s condition. Moyu turns to look at Miriam, smiling at her, and tells her to come over. Miriam instantly does and leans onto Moyu, and Moyu deduces that Miriam is actually worried about Moyu. Miriam confirms this, saying that she knows Moyu had worked herself to exhaustion to help Yuri, too. Seeing a reminder of how deadly their battles can be has also contributed to making Miriam feel listless.
Episode 11
When the rest of Team Hitotsuyanagi (besides Yuyu) all gather near Yuri’s gravestone, Miriam is not there since she’s busy assisting Moyu with her research projects and probably doing night work - as explained by Shenlin. MoyuMiri are then shown together analyzing a terminal in Moyu’s workshop when Yuyu walks in, having been summoned by Moyu. Seeing Yuyu, Miriam greets her and then dismisses herself from the room for a break, telling Yuyu to take her time with her conversation with Moyu while walking out.
Episode 12
In the ending, a picture of Moyu and Miriam with flower crowns and a bouquet of flowers between them makes the front page of the Weekly Lily News. In the newspaper article, they are announced to have formed a Schultzengel contract, with the paper also congratulating them. The ending then shows the scene of when the picture was taken, with Moyu looking very happy and Miriam looking very embarrassed but also happy. The two, with their Schutzengel flowers on them still, then pop into the frame again to join in on a group photo with Riri, Yuyu, and Kaede. Miriam then looks down at the bouquet of flowers that she’s holding.

Assault Lily: Last Bullet - Secret Garden ~Sweet Memoria~[]
Chapter 2 is focused on them. The chapter begins with Miriam helping Moyu out in the latter’s workshop, with the two bantering back-and-forth during and after the work’s all done. Once the work is finished, Moyu rests her head on Miriam’s lap and praises Miriam for all her help while Miriam admits that she really enjoys helping Moyu. Miriam then shyly asks if she and Moyu can have a little outing together with just the two of them. Acknowledging that working together in the workshop doesn’t actually count as quality time spent together, Moyu readily agrees to take a day off from her busy schedule to do just that. The next day, however, Moyu is missing, leaving just a note behind for Miriam about how she had been unexpectedly summoned for a tech conference but should be returning the next day. Miriam tries not to be upset about it, but fails to temper her mood as the days drag on, with Moyu still not returning. Observing this, Kaede teases Miriam about being deprived of her “beloved Moyu-sama” while Fumi takes notes on MoyuMiri’s relationship, much to Miriam’s chagrin.
Right as Miriam is defending herself, claiming to not be lonely without Moyu, however, Moyu returns, happily calling out to Miriam. While at first happy to see Moyu back, Miriam quickly dismisses her, saying that she’s sure Moyu is busy and needed elsewhere before trudging off. Moyu is confused until Fumi explains the situation to her. Meanwhile, Miriam is appalled by her own recent behavior toward Moyu. While heavily regretting her words, Miriam is found by Moyu, who apologizes for leaving Miriam feeling lonely. Miriam, however, apologizes back for her feelings of loneliness, thinking that it’s selfish of her to feel that way knowing how busy Moyu usually is and claiming that she was actually upset at herself for these selfish feelings. Moyu finds this all incredibly adorable and sets out to pamper Miriam, despite the late hour. They end up in an empty dining area, and Moyu cheerfully feeds Miriam pancakes, which Miriam is embarrassed by but nonetheless greatly enjoys. To Miriam’s horror, however, the next day, a photo of Moyu feeding Miriam is on the front page of the academy’s newspaper, with the title “Lovey-Dovey ♥ Arsenals” and a huge crowd looking at it. To the side, Kaede and Fumi gush about how Moyu was so suave for managing to turn a lover’s quarrel into cuddling over pancakes.

Fanon[]
MoyuMiri is one of the more popular ships in the Assault Lily fandom, behind YuRi, ShenYu, and TazuMai, although there is significantly less fanworks for it than the aforementioned 3 pairings[8] due to Moyu not being a part of Team Hitotsuyanagi and so the two have much less screen time together than the other pairings in the anime. Despite not being a part of Miriam’s legion, however, Moyu still plays a significant part in the anime as the Arsenal person / CHARM expert that the team goes to for information or help (with Miriam usually bringing the team to Moyu or the two showing up together), so fans weren’t entirely lacking.
Fans think it’s cute how much time Miriam spends with Moyu, even willing to stay up all night helping Moyu with her research, and so early on, they quickly latched onto the idea of shipping them just because of this. Later on, fans found their bickering funny and think it’s clear that the two care deeply for one another, with the two looking out for each other’s health and well-being in their own ways. After Episode 12 released, fans were pleasantly surprised when the ending revealed the two to have made a Schutzengel's Oath, with fans joking how they had gotten married (because of the pledge being written like a wedding vow and also how the two are posed like a married couple with bouquets in their hands and blushing).[9]
MoyuMiri subsequently gained even more popularity with the release of Last Bullet that gave them a plethora of post-anime stories and artworks together. When an entire chapter was later dedicated to them in the Last Bullet manga anthology series (which is officially tagged as “Girls’ Love / Yuri” by the original publisher), fans got excited upon seeing Moyu feed Miriam cake at the end of the chapter and them getting officially labeled the “Lovey-Dovey ♥ Arsenals” by their fellow Lilies.
They’re considered one of the main yuri pairs in the franchise, despite their significantly less screen time and non-appearance together in the stage plays, due to how they’re pushed together in both the anime and in Last Bullet (the latter of which has an abundance of duo art of the two together, portrayed with the same romantic undertones as the duo arts of YuRi, ShenYu, and TazuMai).
