Mt. Night is the femslash ship between Nemuri Kayama and Yu Takeyama from the My Hero Academia fandom.
Canon[]
Nemuri and Yu are both Pro-Heroes. Yu is younger, by about eight years. This comes to be a point of contention between them, as they are often compared against each other as two "sexy" female heroes. Nemuri and Yu are first seen together on a talk show, where they are being interviewed about whether or not sexiness is required to be a good hero. Nemuri tries to explain that lack of clothing is required for her Quirk, but Yu points out that she likely just enjoys the attention. Nemuri asks if she's trying to pick a fight, and Yu replies that she would never pick a fight with Nemuri because she finds her amazing... even though she's old. Their conversation devolves into a full physical fight, including ripping each other's costumes.
Nemuri and Yu are later brought in to teach Class 1-A Hero Interview Training. They explain that heroes have become too commercialized and concerned with showbiz. However, with the recent threats by the League of Villains the public now want heroes to step up and act like heroes. Yu hosts mock interviews with the students, while Nemuri helps set up the stage and then watches alongside Shota Aizawa. Both Nemuri and Yu are blatantly unimpressed by the small wisp of Black Whip that Izuku Midoriya is able to conjure during his interview.
During the Paranormal Liberation War, both Nemuri and Yu are members of the Gunga Villa Team. They both play an important role in attempting to stop Gigantomachia from heading to Jaku Hospital. Yu uses her Gigantification Quirk to try and fight off Gigantomachia. He throws her out of the way as he rampages through the forest. Nemuri and Kamui Woods approach next, with the intention for Nemuri to use her Somnambulist Quirk to put Gigantomachia to sleep. However, they are attacked by Toya Todoroki, sending them off course. Yu returns, and grabs hold of Gigantomachia in an attempt to slow him down. While she does this, Nemuri reaches out to the students of Class 1-A, instructing them to create a sedative to use on Gigantomachia. Moments later, Nemuri dies at the hands of the Paranormal Liberation Front.

Mt. Night is considered a rarepair in the fandom. Some fans choose to ship the characters because they enjoy how they look together. This way of thinking is most popular with fan artists and fans on Tumblr and Twitter. However, others like to build off the dynamic the two were shown to have when they bickered on live television. This appeals to fans who enjoy enemies-to-lovers dynamics. Additionally, there are few female Pro Heroes when compared to male ones, so fans who enjoy femslash find that they have few options when selecting ships.
