Muffgore is the het ship between Muffet and Asgore Dreemurr from the Undertale fandom.

Canon

Muffet and Asgore are not shown to interact in the game. The only time they appeared together was when Muffet was among the various monsters to cheer Frisk on in the True Pacifist Route.

Similarities:

• Both Muffet and Asgore appear as bosses in Undertale.
• Both battles can be made easier by eating a specific food gained in the Ruins. The fight against Muffet ends when eating a Spider Donut or Spider Cider. In the fight against Asgore, Asgore's attack and defense are lowered if a Butterscotch-Cinnanon Pie is eaten.
• Both are associated with tea. Muffet is seen holding teacups and teapots in her battle sprite and Asgore enjoys Golden Flower Tea.

Fanon

Muffgore is a relatively rare ship. A ship often (but not always) shipped alongside Muffgore is Soriel, and it is sometimes shipped so that Asgore does not have to be alone if Sans and Toriel get together. Shippers of this pairing like to imagine Muffet and Asgore having tea and donuts together. A reason for shipping them is that Asgore misses Toriel's baking and Muffet likes baking.

On AO3, Asgore/Muffet has 6 fanworks, making it a rare pairing on the website. It is not among the top 5 ships for either character. It is most prominently featured in the Life of Asgore series by dietcokeenthusiast, which takes place after a Pacifist ending.

On DeviantArt, the pairing is rare. A fanchild called Muffin has been made by Rawring-Rainbows, and more than half of the images in the muffgore tag are images of this character. There are two images of fanart of the pairing, Tea by NekuZ and UT: Muffet x Asgore by hopelessromantic721. Muffgore is also featured in a comic by NekuZ.

The ship has gained some criticism due to the fact that Asgore and Muffet never interact in-game and Asgore still loves Toriel. Some think that Muffet would only be in a relationship for money, although this is a reason against any Muffet ship, not just Muffgore. It is also thought that Muffet is a child, although her exact age is unknown according to her creator.
