MuneTaku is the slash ship between Shindou Takuto and Ibuki Munemasa from the Inazuma Eleven Go fandom.
Canon[]
Shindou and Ibuki are both players selected to be in Inazuma Japan. However, Tenma, Tsurugi and Shindou are quick to find out that everyone else is a newbie, which disappointed all three of them, especially Shindou, who was visibly upset.
When going to training, Ibuki overhears Shindou wanting to play only with Tenma and Tsurugi, with himself in defense stopping all the shoots. He doesn't appreciate that and ask Shindou to use one of his hissatsu against him. He does and Ibuki is unable to stop it. Feeling humiliated, he goes training even harder even during night.
The team ends up against the Fire Dragons for theit first match. Shindou blocks all the shoots, which makes Ibuki irritated. Unfortunelty, he doesn't manage to stop Rapid Fire, and the first half ended up at 0-1. However, during the second half, Shindou uses a new hissatsu, Einsatz, to block Rapid Fire. In their second match, Ibuki uses a hissatsu for the first time. But it doesn't impress Shindou, who keeps playing as defender.
During the last match for the team that will represent Asia, Ibuki gets hurt. That's when he realizes that he can't stop all the shots on his own. He calls Shindou for help and admit to him that he was too self-centered on being the only one that can stop the shoots. After the match, Inazuma Japan discovered that the opposing teams were actually aliens disguised as human ands that the FFIV2 is actually a tournament to determine who will represent the Earth in a bigger, intergalatic soccer tournament called the Grand Celesta Galaxy.
After the reveal, Ibuki goes training alone. Shindou arrives to talk to him, about what happened. He listens quietly to Ibuki.
Later, on the Gurdon planet, the Earth Eleven split up to find a jewel. Shindou, Ibuki, Konoha and Minaho are attacked by a mecanical bird. Ibuki tries to distract it and tell the others to run away. But Shindou comes back to help Ibuki and throws a rock at the bird, leaving him on plain sight. They both try to run away, but they fall. They can't climb back, and the two look for a way to go back to the team. They meet Roglos Gordon, the elder of the Anti-Machine Faction. On their way back for the match, Ibuki asks Shindou why he came back when he was attacked by the bird, and if that's because Shindou thought Ibuki was too weak to do it by himself. Shindou answers 'maybe', which make the two of them smile. Later, Ibuki helps Shindou not to fall and Shindou thanks him. Ibuki responds 'thanks to you too', which Shindou doesn't understand but probably refers to the fact that Ibuki was grateful that Shindou had came back to check on him.
Fanon[]
MuneTaku is a small ship despite the many moments the two share in Inazuma Eleven Go Galaxy. People usually start to ship them at Episode 16, once Ibuki admits to Shindou that he needs to rely on his teamates, including Shindou. But the way he puts it can sound a bit...explicit when taken out of context. Some start a bit later, when they have that conversation about leaving soon. Some even more late, when they are separated from the rest of the team, they are rescued by the people of the planet they're on. During that night, they share a room with two beds, and some people joked about looking like the scene of a certain anime.
Some fanarts depict Kirino being jealous of the relationship. But most of the time, fans just see Kirino as an ex-boyfriend or having an unrequired crush on Shindou. Most people ship Kirino with Kariya following MuneTaku.
