NCynuzi is the friendship between Serial Designation N, Cyn, and Uzi Doorman from the Murder Drones fandom.
Canon[]
The three collectively have a fair share of history that surrounds action, adventure, trauma, horror, utter destruction, and death. The rivalry between N and Uzi began with Cyn's treacherous plot in eliminating humanity, in which she succeeds in. Before Cyn destroys all humankind, she begins with N, including fellow co-workers of theirs, transformation from Worker Drones to Disassembly Drones; or more popularly known as Murder Drones. She has him and allies consume and eradicate the human race prior handling the Earth, and exploding it. N, Serial Designation V, and Serial Designation J are sent as a squad to purge the Worker Drones species, including Uzi and her family.
Because of the tragedy that brought her mother's death, Uzi relented against cowering behind doors (there her father, Khan Doorman, built) to take a stand and fight the Murder Drones. Her plot is put into action in the Pilot.
Pilot[]
Uzi single-handedly crafts a makeshift railgun meant to destroy her predators forever. She runs into N when she enters his territory to obtain the final piece to her weapon. He naturally attacks her, and she retaliates; he finds himself with his head evaporated by the blast of Uzi's railgun. She feels victorious before witnessing his regeneration. Thankfully for her, destroying his head took a facial recognizer with it, so he's unable to tell that she's a Worker Drone, and engages with friendly conversation, believing she's a new squad member. Uzi utilizes this opportunity to pry information about JCJenson and the Disassembly Drone's reason behind their goal out of him. After a while of chatting, J and V return from their hunt, and Uzi flees.
J confronts N about his foolishness for letting easy prey escape. She slaps his face to reboot him, and for a split moment, his visor shows Cyn's name as his admin before cutting back to reality. N pursues Uzi to cover up his slip-up. Once breaking inside the colony, he nearly kills her in front of her father, but backs down after witnessing Khan, albeit hesitantly, abandoning his daughter. With this newfound guilt and sympathy towards her, which she reciprocates for him deciding to join her side, the two bond and fight against J and V in a heated battle to save the Workers.
Notably during their conflict, Uzi's Absolute Solver symbol would pop up at least once. Though the Absolute Solver and Cyn are considered two separate beings, respectively, the two are still very correlated. In the end of the Pilot, her Solver symbol flashes again to indicate full activation within her code. This happens as she evilly laughs to herself over the idea of eradicating the human race, something Cyn has already accomplished before her. N simply watches from the corpse house (where he's protected from the sun) as she does this.
Heartbeat[]
It's debatable whether this episode included Cyn or just the Absolute Solver. N and Uzi get a report from Thad claiming that J's corpse crawled away mysteriously. They travel together as a trio to sneak past authoritative eyes to investigate. They do manage to bump into J, but the Eldritch abomination variation of her. She snags Thad, forcing N and Uzi to take pursuit. After rescuing him, the Eldritch J speaks to Uzi mockingly behind faux affability. N suddenly disappears, leaving Uzi alone with the monster.
Once the Eldritch J finally makes a move in attacking, N comes in time to rescue Uzi from her near demise. He drops a bomb that obliterates the Eldritch horror's body into nothing but a heart core. It manages to escape, however, and it doesn't take long for it to fully regenerate J's body and mind. Prior to these events, Uzi is discussing heatedly about JCJenson, their cruelty and unfairness towards the Worker Drones, and queries revolving around their secret goals. It turns out in future events, the Triumphant Trio will get their answer.
Cabin Fever[]
Cabin Fever revolves around Uzi and her ghastly transformation into a "Zombie Drone", or better known as "Solver Uzi". Solver Uzi comes out during a camping trip involving her peers and N and V as their camp counselors. She attacks her fellow teenage drones, consuming them and experiencing relentless bloodlust all the while. Her abnormality is so abominable that V genuinely believes that Uzi is Cyn, who snatched her body. Uzi expresses clear confusion to this accusation but doesn't stay sane long enough to further the argument. Before she could end up doing serious damage to V, N grabs her by the collar, lifts her up, and tosses her into the sky.
He quickly follows, and the two have conversation whilst falling from several feet. Successfully consoling her, their bond grows stronger.
Home[]
Home finally brings Cyn as a character into light, and has her have the most interactions with Uzi and N. Uzi in present time connects her conscious to N and V's own to invade their memories in search of their origins and answers regarding JCJenson. Cyn and N are revealed to have a sibling relationship with N being the older brother. It's unclear whether he reciprocates this attitude towards Cyn, who is the only one in the relationship to perceive their closeness this way. The memory takes place in the day of the gala, also the day where Cyn plans to wreak havoc on humans and the planet as a whole. She engages in conversation with N during their shift: She brings up the prestigious event, implicating her desire to join.
N, oblivious to her underlying bloodlust, happily agrees to try to get the Elliotts to accept her, and if they react otherwise, they'll simply have a movie night together. This is when Cyn is almost debunked to N; the two approach J and Tessa Elliott, the kind daughter of the Elliotts, in the ballroom. Both J and Tessa express visual confusion to see Cyn linked with N in front of their eyes. It then comes to N's acknowledgement that they both have been locking Cyn in her basement for too long, treating her like a dangerous animal that must be caged. Before Tessa gets the chance to explain her motifs, she's interrupted by Louisa Elliott's intimidating presence approaching the group.
Cyn leaves an ominous message for Louisa (justified, as she has grown tired of Louisa's dehumanizing comments on the drones), N takes the blame and punishment for his "little sister"'s actions. He's chained outside to a tree for the crows to peck at him (to his cheery amusement). That's when Uzi comes; she possesses one of the birds and is capable of speaking through it. She delivers N basic information regarding her, Cyn, and the Absolute Solver. Together they plan to enter Cyn's timeout basement to debunk any secrets. As expected, they are quickly halted by the kid-drone.
They were held back momentarily by the Eldritch V, who was transformed and twisted by Cyn herself. But with the help of Tessa and J, they keep V occupied enough to steal the key and enter the basement. To their horror, a mass of deformed drone bodies, surgery tools, and an inhumane image of N's beheaded corpse greets them. Cyn finds them again and proceeds to provoke them; Uzi is thrown out a window, and N is tied back to the chair his other body once sat in. Before Cyn could lobotomize him, not only does he succeed in regaining V's consciousness, Uzi possesses Cyn and rescues them both.
With Uzi as the new admin to both V and N's code, the Disassembly Drones reawaken. But their mission still isn't finished, for Doll had stolen the keybug from Uzi moments prior and ran off with it. They immediately trace Doll back outside and find her conversing with the reanimated J and adult "Tessa".
Dead End[]
Cyn's hold on Uzi becomes much more prominent in the events of this episode: When Doll tries to flee yet again with the keybug, betraying J and Tessa this time, she's chased by an entire squad but manages to escape into the gaping pit in Copper 9. Everyone, except for J, who was ordered to keep watch over the space pod, enter the underground labs. They're met by a multitude of threats including the Sentinels, Alice, and her supposed child, Beau. Alice and Beau kidnap them and restrain to them to beds, so Alice can do whatever she pleases to them.
She attempts to keep Uzi sedated (even releasing her pent-up anger on her in spite of Nori) but is met with instant karma. When N and Tessa manage to escape their imprisonment, they bump into Sentinels and would have perished to them if not for Uzi's intervene. Uzi, controlled by Cyn, combusts the control panel that kept the doors to their room closed and barricaded off from the Sentinels. Alice tries to shut the doors to no avail; her head is unceremoniously squashed by a Sentinel, resulting in her death. V frees Uzi and the two escape together before the Sentinels could overflow the area.
They meet back up with N and Tessa, leaving the squad to continue their adventure. Reaching the elevator, they witnessed a bootlooped Doll on the floor with the keybug. V proposes this as a trap, but Tessa walks into it regardless of her input. Doll confirms V's suspicious and traps the team with Sentinels whilst she drops down the elevator shaft. Uzi attempts to bust them out of their predicament by using her Solver, but as N and V tried to warn her before, Cyn takes control immediately once she performs this.
Clearly unstable, N has to dismember Uzi's hand to cease Cyn's hold on her. Tessa drags N and a weak Uzi to the elevator, but V doesn't follow; The female Disassembly Drone willingly sacrificed herself for the safety of her friends by forcing them down the elevator, leaving her alone with the Sentinels.
Mass Destruction[]
Uzi, N, and Tessa, visit the mine shafts. When Tessa makes ominous implications that could result in harming Uzi, she abandons both the human and N after she accidentally creates a rock barrier between them. While separated, N meets Nori, Uzi's long missing and "deceased" mother, after she rescues him from a rouge Cyn. The two circle back to Uzi, who found the chapel. N stumbled upon Tessa hovering over a disarmed Uzi, prepared to kill her. But thankfully for the purple drone, N beheads Tessa. But to his shock, Uzi's consciousness is suddenly wiped and replaced by Cyn's.
Nori joins in on the battle that ensues. Once the fight comes to a climax, she's held at a disadvantage as Cyn picks her up and holds her dangerously close to her mouth. Before Cyn could consume her, N distracts by confessing to Nori about his and Uzi's relationship that hasn't quite met romantic terms yet. Enraged, Nori slaps Uzi clean across the face, and also because Cyn was displeased and confused by N's intervention. The slap reboots Uzi and brings her back full control over her mind and body.
But this also means she brought back her daughter's hair-trigger temper; Uzi kicks Nori down the gaping pit for slapping her, unaware of who the woman is to her. Cyn pops up, taking advantage of N and Uzi's wholesome reconciliation. She consumes Doll's (who had succumbed to her injuries pre-battle) heart after coming out of Tessa's space suit. It's revealed to everyone's shock that Cyn had killed the kid Tessa, skinned her, and posed as her, but continues to wear the corpse even after revealing herself. She drags Uzi and N to the massive hole with full intent to drag them inside, but only manages to snag Uzi, for the latter had freed N.
Absolute End[]
Now taking place in space, Uzi reunites and makes amends with her mother, is now officially dating N, and together, they plan to retaliate against and defeat Cyn for good. Cyn approaches them menacingly on the catwalk, pushing them both to take caution. She attacks Uzi after failing to possess her again. Completely ripping out Uzi's heart provoked an intense reaction in N that led him to fight her solo. She effortlessly stuns him and proceeds to dig into his chest to access his heart.
Uzi takes her turn in rescuing him, and she flees with his momentarily unconscious body to flee from their attacker. They swiftly hide in a building. Cyn is left with nothing but her senses to locate them. When V enters the scene, N loses self control and calls out to save the latter from danger. This results him in ripping out his heart in the eyes of Uzi. Both V and N are pushed outside of the building, leaving Uzi completely alone.
Cyn (teasingly) attempts to kill N by consuming his heart; when that doesn't work, she drags the building Uzi is stuck in to the ground. Much to her chagrin, Uzi had already snuck out beforehand. The reforged trio engage in a final battle against Cyn, with N, Uzi, and V sparing each other numerous times. When everything finally comes to a close, Uzi absorbed the Absolute Solver's core, meaning killing off Cyn for good.
Fanon[]
The NCynuzi is a well-acknowledged ship, as their relationship plays an extremely massive role in the plot. A plethora of fanarts accompany the three together in compliment of the web-series' successful and well done story and progress. In the shipping perspective, people commonly depict Cyn as Uzi's sister-in-law, or vice versa with N when Cynuzi takes place. It's a common theory that Cyn may be jealous with Uzi's intimate relationship with N. This explains her annoyed behavior whenever exposed to their love for each other.
Possible reasons include her growing aggravated the idea of Uzi being a distraction for N, her inherited disdain for love, or both. It's not uncommon to find the trio in chaotic skits, memes, or edits with each other. Another nod to the series and the fandom's appreciation and love for the characters. Despite the popularity, the trio don't have definitive tags of their own unlike polygamous ships such as Nuziv or Jenvy.
