NamiShi is the femslash ship between Naminé and Xion from the Kingdom Hearts fandom.
Canon[]
Naminé is the Nobody of Kairi, and Xion is an incomplete replica of Sora. Since Sora and Kairi are shown to have romantic feelings for each other, it is possible that that same attraction has carried over into their Nobody and replica. Although Xion is Sora's replica, she greatly resembles Sora's memories of Kairi. As Kairi's Nobody, Naminé resembles Kairi as well. This means that Naminé and Xion share many of the same physical characteristics with each other, including the same blue eyes and similar facial structures.
Naminé and Xion's first interaction occurred towards the end of Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days . Xion goes to visit Naminé in Twilight Town so that she can properly return the memories of Sora's which she inadvertently captured. Xion says she wants to return to Sora, and Naminé warns her that this means she will disappear. Xion confirms that she already knew this, and that she still wants to return regardless. Before they can reconnect with Sora, DiZ arrives and says that Organization XIII has found them. He lambasts Naminé for trusting Xion. Xion offers to take care of things for them, and runs out to fight the Organization.
It is noteworthy that when Xion first learns about Naminé from Riku, Xion immediately asks: "What is she like?"
In Coded, Naminé is the one who first brings Xion to Sora's attention. She tells him that it is his destiny to free multiple people, including Xion. In Dream Drop Distance, Sora visits The World that Never Was in his dream. He sees Naminé and chases after her, saying that that he has to tell her something. When he catches up to her and grabs her hand, Naminé turns into Xion. Sora is surprised as he does not remember her. During the ending cinematic for Kingdom Hearts III the two can be seen on the beach at Destiny Islands looking for seashells together.

NamiShi has a decent amount of popularity that has grown over the years. Although works for the ship existed prior to 2019, NamiShi experienced a boom in popularity following the release of Kingdom Hearts III. This is likely a result of the small moment they shared together in the closing cinematic of the game. On AO3, it is the most written femslash ship for both Naminé and Xion. It currently has over 275 works on AO3.
