NanaMei is the het ship between Kento Nanami and Mei Mei from the Jujutsu Kaisen fandom.

Nanami and Mei Mei are Jujutsu Sorcerers associated with Tokyo Jujutsu High. Nanami is a former student of Tokyo Jujutsu High and a grade 1 jujutsu sorcerer. Nanami initially left Jujutsu High after graduating to become a salaryman, but returned four years later to continue working as a sorcerer. Mei Mei is a grade 1 jujutsu sorcerer who works independently and only in exchange for money. Both Mei Mei and Nanami are laid back people. Nanami respects Mei Mei enough to have asked her for life advice at least once regarding where he should live[1].
Mei Mei and Nanami share some similarities. They both dislike work to same extent with Nanami hating to work overtime enough to make a condition for a binding vow and Mei Mei only working for money. They also both like money. Monetary value is the thing Mei Mei loves the most and the only thing she gives value to[2]. Nanami's reason for becoming a salaryman was to gain enough money to retire, he admitted that during that time of his life, he only thing he though about was money[3]. They also share some connections with Malaysia as Nanami wants to retire to Malaysia[4][5][6] and Mei Mei is known to spend some time there [7] and her favorite dish is Bak kut teh, a Malaysian soup[8]. It is implied Mei Mei was the one to give Nanami the idea to retire to Malaysia[9].
They are however quite different. Nanami believes it's his responsability as an adult to look after children like Yuji[10], Mei Mei doesn't share the same views. On top of only valuing money, Mei Mei takes her younger brother Ui Ui onto the batllefield and asks him to die for her, which he gladly does[11]. Nanami gives great importance to his duties[12], even if it costs him is life, as shown by him dying in Shibuya[13]. Whereas Mei Mei flees from her responsabilities if her life is in danger[14][15].
When Geto declares war on the Jujutsu society, both Mei Mei and Nanami are seen attending the meeting, where principal Yaga discusses their plan on defending it. They were also both present at the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons on December 24, 2017 and the Shibuya incident on October 30, 2018.

NanaMei is a rarepair due to the fact that Nanami and Mei Mei don’t have many scenes together and Mei Mei is a minor character. It is Mei Mei’s first and Nanami’s 12th most written ship on Archive of Our Own. The ship currently has 47 works under it on the website but NanaMei is overshadowed by NanaGo for Nanami. Fans enjoy the ship because of how different the two characters are, Nanami is a example of a responsible and somewhat righteous sorcerer while Mei Mei is the opposite. Despite these differences, Nanami seems to respect Mei Mei and values her opinion enough to ask her for life advice.
