NaoGumi is the family ship between Naoya Zenin and Megumi Fushiguro from the Jujutsu Kaisen fandom.
Canon[]
Naoya and Megumi have never met in canon but they do know of each other. They are both from the Zenin clan, however, only Naoya was raised into the clan as Megumi's father was an outcast. Naoya was the heir of the clan and possessd great ambition as he deeply wanted to become clan head. Megumi was the one who became the head of the Zenin clan even though he had no desire take on the mantle. Naoya has deep admiration for Megumi's father, Toji, but Megumi has no idea who his father his. Naoya's respect for Toji has no impact on how he feels about Megumi.
Itadori Extermination Arc[]
As Naoya father's, the head of the Zenin clan, is on death's door, Naoya impatiently waits for his will to be read as he is conviced he will be the next heir. As the will states, Naoya is to be the 27th clan's head. However, Naoya's plan to become the head is foiled by a written agreement between Naobito and Toji. As Gojo is incapacited, Megumi will become the next leader of the clan and all the assets of the clan will be passed down to him. After learning of this agreement, Naoya is shocked and angry. He asks to know where Megumi is as decides to kill him to take his place.
Now in Tokyo, Naoya looks for Megumi. As he doesn't see him, he asks himself if Megumi is really slow as Naoya is one of the fastest sorcerers. Naoya asks Yuji if he knows of Megumi's location. He tells him he will kill Megumi but not before Megumi writes something for him. Presumably a decree to make Naoya the head of the Zenin. Naoya is chased out of Tokyo by Yuta.
Perfect Preparation Arc[]
Maki informs Megumi that he is to be the next leader of the Zenin which he refuses but accepts nonetheless after some arguing from Maki.
Naoya and Maki are talking at the Zenin residence. He asks her if she's going to follow Megumi and Yuta like a lap dog. Later, Naoya talks to his cousin Jinichi about the clan's affairs. Jinichi tells Naoya that Megumi is the better choice for a leader, something Naoya greatly disagrees with. Jinichi states that many clan members support Megumi as he could restore their clan's relationship with the Gojo clan, something Naoya is not capable of doing. Despite this, Jinichi agrees with Naoya that he does not want Megumi to be in possession of the clan's assets. Naoya asks him why the clan isn't doing anything to get rid of Megumi, to which Jinichi responds that it would be to risky to dispose of him without reason. Jinichi tells Naoya that they'll kill Megumi for planing the release of Gojo, an act forbidden by Jujutsu Headquarters. This plan greatly amuses Naoya.

As a family ship it is Megumi's 21th most popular ship and, as a slash pairing, it is Megumi's 10th most popular ship. As it the case with most of Naoya's ships, fans appreciate his antagonism for the cast, Megumi in this case. Fans also appreciate his one-sided rivalry with Megumi for the seat of clan head as their attitudes towards the seat is very different. Their values and how they were raised are vastly different, making for a great contrast.
