NaoMaki is the family ship between Maki Zenin and Naoya Zenin from the Jujutsu Kaisen fandom.
Canon[]
Itadori Extermination Arc[]
After the Shibuya Incident, Naoya is called to stay by Naobito's side. On the way there, he makes misogynistic comments towards Maki and Mai, claiming that Maki does not deserve to live and that Mai is much more acceptable for the Zenin clan.
Perfect Preparation Arc[]
When Maki arrives at the Zenin household, Naoya immediately insults her burnt face. Maki responds by saying that she thought Naoya judged women by their butts instead of the face. Naoya keeps insulting her and tells her to answer his question. He adds on that Maki is useless because she is unable to use cursed techniques, nor see cursed spirits. He also says that her face was all she had before it was ruined, Naoya adds that he's been lonely lately asks Maki if he should bully her like he used to in the past. Maki ignores this as Naoya insults her and asks her if she's going to follow Megumi Fushiguro and Yuta Okkotsu like a lap dog.
Later, Maki meets with her mother who tells her not to enter the armory. As she enters the armory, Maki falls into a trap laid out by her father, Ogi Zenin, and is imprisoned in a training room with Mai. Now in a different room, Naoya laughs as he says that Ogi killing Maki for being a traitor will give him more credibility. As Mai dies, Maki manages to get free and kills her father. Naoya is informed that Maki has gone mad and has killed Ogi. Naoya is surprised to learn Maki managed to kill Ogi. Naoya arrives and confronts Maki after she throws Jinichi Zenin's head into the water, asking if she has a human heart. Maki responds by saying she no longer has a heart as it was taken from her when Mai died.
Naoya immediately attacks Maki with punches and she's able to block all of them. Naoya manages to grab Maki's arm and uses his technique on her to send her flying. He thinks to himself of how Maki isn't Toji and that he is the most similar to him, not her. He continues to attack Maki who's unable to fight back. Naoya decides to use his speed to try and pierce Maki, however, much to his surprise, Maki prepares an attack. Instead of directly attacking Maki, Naoya slaps her and gets behind her preparing to attack. However, Maki surprises him and slams him into the ground, leaving him bleeding and wounded but does not kill him.
After Maki leaves, Naoya tries to crawl to safety, gloating to himself that she didn't finish him off. However, Maki's mother, who was also on the verge of death, stabs Naoya in the back, killing him.
Culling Game Arc[]
Naoya was able to live on as a Vengeful Cursed Spirit who wants to get revenge on Maki. While Maki is making her way through the Sakurajima Colony with Noritoshi, Naoya enters. He utters out Maki's name and launches himself into her with far greater speed than either she or Noritoshi can react to. Maki survives his assault and tries to hit him back. However, he dodges using his technique, reminding Maki of how he moved as a human. Before she can try attacking again, Naoya strikes her up against another wall. He then reveals his face and manages to fully say Maki's name, she is shocked to learn his identity.
As the two continue to fight Naoya metamorphosizes and begins to overpower Noritoshi and Maki with his speed, eventually reaching a speed of Mach 3 and pins Maki down. Naoya briefly mocks Mai to anger Maki. Naoya decides to activate his Domain but Maki stabs Naoya in the back revealing she is unaffected by the Domain due to having no cursed energy. She then kills him.

Fanon[]
NaoMaki is Naoya's seventh most popular ship, behind TojiNao, GoNao and NaoMai. It is also Maki's fifth most popular ship, behind NobaMaki, YutaMaki and MakiMai.
Both characters are part of the Zenin clan, one of the Big Three Sorcerer Families, and want to be heads of the Zenin clan, albeit for different reasons. Naoya is the ambitious clan heir who believes the seat is his and Maki wants to make the clan a place where her and her sister can belong to. Naoya was also the head of the clan's elite unit of jujutsu sorcerers, the Hei, while Maki was part of the Kukuru Unit, a lower branch of the Hei comprised of Zenin male members who don't possess innate techniques. Maki was constantly mistreated by her family and Naoya for being a woman and for having very little cursed energy. Naoya fully suscribes to his clan's mysoginistic and elitist beliefs. Maki felt compelled to expel herself from the Zenin clan and aspires to be a great jujutsu sorcerer to spite her toxic family. Naoya aspires to be like Toji but it was Maki who became equal to him, which enraged Naoya who didn't want to acknoledge her.
