Naorise is the femslash ship between Rise Kujikawa and Naoto Shirogane from the Persona fandom.
Canon[]
Naoto and Rise are both newcomers in Inaba. Rise is a former idol, having retired from the business and moved in with her grandmother to help run her tofu shop. Naoto is a young detective, visiting Inaba in an attempt to solve the string of murders in the small town. They are both first year students at Yasogami High School. They both get involved with the TV World after they are abducted and forced to face their Shadows. Rise is the fifth member and Naoto is the final member to join the Investigation Team.
Naoto and Rise seem to be complete opposites of one another. While Rise is girly and a bit boy obsessed, Naoto initially hides her gender as a way to try and progress her career as a detective. Naoto also seems to care little for relationships, and doesn't seem to notice the crush that Kanji has on her. While Rise is loud and bubbly, Naoto is on the more reserved side. Still, the two have been shown to be very supportive of one another, and they get along easily.
Persona 4: Dancing All Night[]
Naoto is one of the two Investigation Team members to meet with Rise early to practice for their Love Meets Bonds Festival performance. They discuss the rumours about the LMB website with Yu Narukami, and decide to watch the video at midnight. The trio get sucked into the Midnight Stage, where the Shadows try to convince Naoto to join them. She is saved by Rise's music player turning on, and Yu subsequently performing a dance that banishes the shadows.
Naoto and Rise in Persona 4: Dancing All Night
The next day, the rest of the Investigation Team arrives. While meeting Kanami Mashita, the portal to the Midnight Stage returns. Everyone jumps in, and once inside they decide to split up to cover more ground. Rise, Naoto, Kanji, and Teddie decide to form their own group so they can prove their capabilities to the older members of the team. Naoto supports Rise in becoming the leader of their group, in lieu of Yu.
When dancing together, Rise will comment that Naoto is "sexy". She seems to be surprisingly pleased with the emotions that Naoto puts into her dancing.

NaoRise is one of the most popular Persona 4 ships. It is the second most popular femslash ship, and the second most popular ship for both Rise and Naoto. Due to Naoto's gender presentation in the game, some fans choose to view her as a trans man and ship NaoRise as a het ship. Fans enjoy the dynamic between these two characters, with the major differences in their personalities.
