Nebecca is the het ship between Serial Designation N and Rebecca from the Murder Drones fandom.
Canon[]
Rebecca is a Worker Drone that finds herself swooning over N, a Disassembly Drone and a threat to Worker Drone kind. It is interpreted that her crush on him isn't genuine considering she only expressed interest after V told her he is a pilot.
Cabin Fever[]
Rebecca is a student who visited the Cabin Fever labs as a camper. N volunteers as the counselor for them, but like everyone else, Rebecca is deathly afraid of him at first for being a Disassembly Drone that destroys Worker Drones. As soon as Uzi Doorman steps in and announces she is friends with the Murder Drones in hopes of calming things down, her peers freak and become sympathetic towards the murderous creatures. V, in an attempt to distract the campers, tells them that N is a pilot in a seductive tone. This immediately wins Rebecca over and she begins swooning over him.
In a camp activity, the counselors and campers (excluding Uzi) are "canoeing" on the frozen lake. Rebecca is seen boarding N's canoe and flirting with him, even asking if he's single. When Rebecca loses her balance and almost falls off the canoe, N swiftly catches her. She enters a shy and bashful state in response to this. As the episode progresses, it's revealed that Rebecca already has a boyfriend, Darren.
It can be argued that she lost interest in him, or she is content with both him and N as romantic partners as evident in her invitation to make out with Braidon. After witnessing N and V's fight, she walks with her boyfriend to an abandoned building, only to end up as Uzi's meal after the purple drone became corrupted by the Absolute Solver.
Fanon[]
Nebecca surprisingly gets a decent amount of fandom attention, though it is still a rarepair. The two currently have 11 works on AO3, surpassing their platonic interpretation. Some may enjoy the ship for the jokes, but others may find themselves genuinely enjoying it for many reasons. Said reasons could be they are fans of the Opposites Attract trope, the fandom trope regarding pairing Worker Drones with Murder Drones, or enjoy the non-canon competition between her and Uzi Doorman for N's love. The ship is easily overshadowed by popular ships such as Envy and Nuzi, but it easily overcame Rebzi, a rival pairing involving Rebbeca, in numbers on AO3.
Fanfictions often include the possibility of the ship becoming canon through popular headcanons. Many depict N as pansexual, so his interest can expand to anyone, including someone as brusque and judgmental as Rebecca; Rebecca additionally has shown interest in more than one person, so fans speculate her to be either pansexual or polysexual as well. This is what fans typically use to argue, if not for Nuzi, the ship could have the potential of becoming official. Some include Rebecca in the Nuzi ship, becoming the Nuzibecca poly pairing. Whether this is because of the polysexual headcanon is up for speculation.
Much like the Nuzibecca treatment, Rebecca is constantly shipped with N alongside other females within the cast (V, Doll, Emily, etc). This sparks "N-centric" tags and foundations in consideration of N being very "shippable".
