Needleafy is the femslash ship between Needle and Leafy from the Battle for Dream Island fandom.

Needle seems concerned when Leafy calls out for Pin to help one another during the balance beam contest.
During team picking, Leafy and Ice Cube agree to choose Needle on next and Leafy calls for her. Needle excitedly walks over to the team mat. Later when Snowball grows angry at Needle, Leafy splits them apart to settle things out.
When Ice Cube is amazed that Needle is a fast runner, Leafy calls it a good thing.
Leafy asks Needle, calling her Needy, if she thinks that Ice Cube would be mad at her for killing her last challenge. Needle slaps her for calling her the name but responds that she doesn't think so. Near the end of the test challenge, Leafy welcomes Needle back but both of their tests are set ablaze.
The two hide in a bush as Leafy watches the Announcer. After being slapped again for calling her Needy, Leafy asks her what the speaker box really is and gets the idea to take him apart. Later at night, Leafy looks at the cake Needle made grow in space and calls it big, getting slapped once more for calling her Needy.
Because of a windstorm caused by Needle's cake in space, an irritated Leafy asks her how it was possible since it was sunny the day before. Leafy realizes that her cake caused this and calls her out for it, being slapped for saying Needy. She then asks Needle what's wrong with calling her Needy and grows annoyed when she gets slapped every time she says the word. Leafy threatens to slap her back and ends up doing so, causing Needle to fly away in the windstorm. During the bridge crossing challenge, Leafy works with Ice Cube and Needle to cross the bridge.
In the second challenge of Battle for Dream Island Again, Needle sees Leafy suddenly appear while she's collecting yoyleberries for her team. Leafy says in a distance that she's glad she's not needy and gets slapped for saying the word. This angers Leafy who starts throwing knives at her, causing Needle and Gelatin to run away. Gelatin gives Needle acid spitballs to fire at Leafy but none of them hit her, prompting Leafy to throw more knives at the two as they escape via Puffball.
Leafy rejoins the Battle for BFDI and ends up joining Needle's team The Losers! She gives Needle the cake she got from Four as a gift to her, delightening Needle as she eats it. During the challenge, Leafy congratulates Needle for making their team win.
During the lava flood, Needle and Leafy reside on top of the roof of the bathrooms with Taco and Ice Cube. When Leafy tries to help Taco overcome her issues with Book, Needle slaps her and tells Leafy to mind her own business. Needle, however, is shocked when this causes Leafy to blow away from the roof and briefly tries to catch her. During the challenge when she overhears Firey and Leafy arguing, Needle snaps at them and urges Leafy to just do the challenge, pushing her into Firey's hands as they swim towards Four. She further drags them along when the two get into another argument. At night, Needle partakes in a conversation with Eggy and Firey about shunning Leafy as Leafy sulks in a distance. She, along with the rest of the team, are annoyed when Leafy reveals to Clock how long they've forgotten about him.

Needleafy is fairly popular as a ship in the Battle for Dream Island fandom, particularly during the run of the fourth season. This stems from their early interactions in the first season before Needle's elimination and a brief return in the fourth season where Leafy was eager to see Needle again. The ship amassed a large following on Tumblr where dozens of ship art was made for Needle and Leafy through 2018-20, with romantic art commonly depicting the two holding hands or kissing. Their dynamic has been described as innocent looking characters who have a deeper sinister side both dealing with public ridicule, sharing the experinces when paired together. Although not as popular in the years following, the pairing still has a fair amount of shippers on other social media platforms. Common rivals of the two include Fireafy (Firey x Leafy), Leafpin (Leafy x Pin), Pineedle (Pin x Needle), and Needrop (Needle x Teardrop).
