NekoShipping is the het ship between Meowth and Meowzie from the Pokémon fandom.
Canon[]
All starts in the episode "Go West Young Meowth", where a Meowth was seen stealing a piece of chicken from the same restaurant, but the chef threw his tray at him and he dropped the food and ran into an alley, where he met many Meowth and a Persian, who offered him a fish, Meowth was flattered by such a thing.
From that day on, he joined the Meowth's gang, with whom he kept stealing chicken from the same restaurant and much more food. One such day, while he was on his own, he saw a Meowth, with whom he fell madly in love, crossed over to talk to her, but her owner hit him and told him not to bother his Meowzie (as her owner called him); he told him to stop dreaming about her because he was neither human nor had money to give her nice things, so he was not interested in her. It was then that Meowth decided to "become human".
Meowth learning to talk like a person. From that very moment he started practicing walking on two legs; he almost perfected it, he just lacked a bit of speed, as seen when the chef caught him for being so slow, and beat him to a pulp. He crawled to his supposed hiding place: an old attic. From there he heard a teacher telling his pupils to say "Serious Sara alone prayed", which Meowth tried to repeat. He practised human customs for a while, even if it cost him being beaten up by Chef. That same day he returned to his hideout where he heard "Sara earnestly prayed alone" again, but this time he could say it perfectly, although he didn't understand what it meant, so he got himself a book where he learned the alphabet and vocabulary. Now convinced that he was "a human" he went back to Meowzie, but she just called him "Freak" because even though he could walk and talk he was still a dirty Meowth. It was that day that Meowth left devastated and met Team Rocket, vowing that he would become rich; so rich that Meowzie would grovel at his feet asking to be with him.
Meowth is rejected a second time by Meowzie. The memory ended and at that moment Meowth met his gang again who asked him to come back, but he said never, and suddenly he saw his beloved Meowzie with all of them. On another stage, where he and Meowth were alone, Meowth told him that her owner had abandoned her because she had almost no money, and that was when the Meowth and the Persian supported him. Meowth swore he would get her out of there. Then the gang wanted to catch the Meowth, but Jessie and James appeared and protected Meowth, saying that they would never abandon a friend. Persian and Meowth engaged in a fight, from which Meowth emerged victorious. But Meowzie, seeing the injured Persian, came to his aid, and told Meowth that this Persian was the only one who supported him in poverty, so it was his duty to protect him, as well as telling him that he was still a "Walking, Talking Freak", which saddened Meowth. This made the lone Meowth finally decide to join Team Rocket, and together, they all defeated and chased away the entire previous group of Meowth.
Since then, Meowth, now on Team Rocket, has never seen Meowzie again, although she did make a few cameos in later seasons.
In "A Hole Lotta Trouble" from Pokémon the Series: Ruby and Sapphire, Meowth tells Max his story about how he learned talking like a human, in which Meowzie appears in his memory.
Zorua resembles Meowzie and Meowth instantly falls in love with her
In the episode "Movie Time! Zorua in "The Legend of the Pokemon Knight"!" from Pokémon the Series: Black & White, the Team Rocket is fighting against Ash, Iris, Cilan and Luke for stealing Zorua, a rare Pokémon that can transform into any Pokémon. When Meowth was threatening Zorua with a scratch, she suddenly transforms into a cute female Meowth that resembles Meowzie. Meowth instantly falls in love, but it's Zorua's plan to take down Team Rocket using Night Daze.
Now, in the recent Journeys episode where Butch and Cassidy return, Meowzie is remembered by Meowth when he sees a female Meowth, belonging to Butch.

NekoShipping is between being fairly popular and being a rarepair. Originally fans had hoped Meowth would stay with Meowzie, but after learning the whole story, they lost faith in this ship because according to them, it would be an interference for Meowth to do better things like his misdeeds in Team Rocket. Although fans say that Meowth can find a second love in a female Meowth similar to Meowzie.
This ship was in controversy with BridgetShipping (Meowth x Purrloin), but it is not as strong because both ships did not consolidate.
