Nessa is the friendship between Serial Designation N and Tessa Elliott from the Murder Drones fandom.

Cyn manages to convince N to ask the Elliotts for permission to allow Cyn to attend the gala. The duo enter the gala and discover Tessa having an anxiety attack regarding the massive event. When Tessa catches sight of N, she yanks him by the head and spins him around enthusiastically. She notices Cyn behind him and exchanges a skeptical glare at her. It is then revealed to N that J and Tessa are locking Cyn away; he asks Tessa for why they decided to do this, in which Tessa gives N a sympathetic look. Before she could explain, Lousia Elliott’s presence interrupted her. The group is intimated into standing in a horizontal line in front of her. When Cyn talks back to Louisa’s unnecessary scolds, Tessa watches as N steps in to take the blame for Cyn’s bold action. As a result, he is left chained to a tree; for an unknown cause, Tessa is also chained to the floor in an isolated room with Cyn and J.
When N and Tessa break free from their chains, they meet each other on the indoor balcony. N motions at Tessa and J that a possessed and mutilated V is in their area. The group huddle, and when Cyn’s plan for massacring the gala is mentioned, N dismisses this and considers Cyn “cool”. At this claim, J and Tessa exchange confused looks before V abruptly lands atop of them, forcing everyone to scatter. V nearly pierces Tessa’s skull, but J swoops in and blocks the attack. J tells N to head for Cyn’s basement as Tessa and her keep V distracted.
Dead End[]
Tessa reunited with N on Copper 9. Upon seeing him, she immediately yanks him by the head and spins him again in the same fashion as she did in the past. She proceeds to explain to the group (with casual interruptions by J) about the explanation behind her arrival. When the group is occupied, Doll yanks the key bug from Tessa’s hold and beelined. Tessa, N, and the others give chase to no avail.
Thus, Tessa continues to explain their motives behind putting an end to Cyn’s unknown agenda. She then sends J off to attend to the spacecraft, leaving her alone with N, V, and Uzi. The two travel through the labs, and Tessa attempts to gain access from a computer to no avail. After this, she gets dragged by an unknown entity. When she is spared, the group succumb to a surprise attack by a worker named Alice as she EMP blasts them. Tessa and N are restrained in the same room as Alice’s subjects.
However, the two successfully escape and wander outside of the room alone. Tessa speaks privately with N, and she reveals something to him she has been meaning to inform him about for a while. She exposes via computer that Earth, N and Tessa’s home planet, has been completely obliterated. She follows this with how they must stop Cyn, for the entire universe is at stake. N immediately looks forward to being with Uzi, but Tessa disagrees.
She asks if he is seriously willing to risk the entire universe for “one little drone”. As she says this, N turns and faces a Sentinel who swiftly bootloops him. Tessa leaps in to protect him by attempting to befriend the creature. Albeit this, she is attacked; the Sentinel bites her hand, causing her to bleed uncontrollably. She lets out a pained scold at it, but she catches on that human blood causes Sentinels to malfunction and stop functioning.
She takes N to another room and awaits for him to awaken. When he does, V and Uzi arrive in said room. Tessa approaches them, but V threatens her with a blade and orders that everyone leaves. When she calls out to N to follow, he stands stiffly. Tessa informs him that V does not yet know of the truth she had told him.
The group continue with their journey and eventually bump into a bootlooped Doll with the keybug in hand. Tessa grabs the keybug despite V accusing it of being a trap. Her statement was proved correct as Doll yanks the bug away and traps everyone in a room infested with Sentinels and hops down the elevator shaft. Tessa yanks N and Uzi into the elevator once things were becoming troublesome. N, Tessa, and Uzi watch a V sacrifices herself to the Sentinels to spare them by forcing the elevator down with everyone inside excluding her.
Mass Destruction[]
N scrambles through the massive rubble to get back to V, but Tessa points out that his efforts are useless. Witnessing Uzi’s eye, she makes a suggestion that implies the riddance of the latter, but N quickly rebutted against this and decided to comfort Uzi instead. But nonetheless, Uzi is skeptical of them and backs away, accidentally separating them by causing massive rubble to fall between her and Tessa and N. The duo, now alone, split up. Uzi meets up back with Tessa after Doll collapses to the ground and succumbs to her injuries inflicted by Tessa herself.
Tessa slowly approaches Uzi with harmful intent, pinning the latter to the ground by inserting a blade through her chest. Tessa nearly finishes Uzi off, but her actions is ceased immediately by N who threatens the human with a blade to her neck. N demands her to answer the question in which Tessa was aware of the crucifix patch or not. Albeit the weapon to her neck, Tessa still decides to play coy, which ultimately results in her death in the hands of him. After an intense battle between Cyn (who is controlling Uzi) and N and Nori, Tessa’s head continues to roll on the ground and nearly falls into the gaping hole.
Before it can, Tessa’s foot ceases its movement before she picks it up and gruesomely snaps her head back into place on her body. A zipper unfolding can be heard, and a mass of flesh that used to be Tessa’s body collapses to the floor motionless. N and Uzi hear a strange noise behind them as Tessa sneaks Doll’s corpse a long distance from them. They witness her consuming the worker’s heart to prevent the latter from regenerating. It is finally revealed that Tessa was never with the group and it was simply Cyn fused with Tessa’s kid corpse.
“Tessa” rapidly approaches N on all fours and leaps towards him; she violently and sloppily bites his neck, causing him to faint. “Tessa” sarcastically remarks that their battle was fun, and she swoops into the hole before sending massive tentacle-like appendages moments afterward. The tentacles take hold of Uzi and N and drags them rapidly towards the ditch. However, it was only successful in stealing Uzi for the worker had freed N from captivity.
Fanon[]
The Nessa ship had sparked controversy for Tessa’s role as an antagonist from episodes 6-8; but once revealed to be a deceased child who is a mere puppet for the AbsoluteSolver, the ship was deemed pure again. Tessa’s enthusiastic and friendly attitude towards N may influence fans to deem the duo as siblings alongside NCyn and Cynessa. This is supported by how ultimately similar Cyn and Tessa appear physically, along with shared traits of their personality. Fans note how Tessa is one of the very few individuals who treat N kindly and with respect.
It's not entirely uncommon to detect romantic fan works of the two. These depictions are often overshadowed by the friendship variation.
