Nintenana is the het ship between Ninten and Ana from the EarthBound fandom.
Canon[]
Ninten and Ana both have PSI abilities. They can both use telepathy, teleportation, Lifeup (β, γ and π), Healing (all levels), Hypnosis, and make PSI shields (all levels).
In Reindeer, an old woman gives Ninten Ana's hat and asks him to return it to her. When Ninten arrives at Ana's church in Snowman, she tells him she had a dream of a boy who looked just like him. Ana tells him she was waiting for him, because she needs Ninten's help to find her mother in Easter. Ana then joins Ninten's party.
In Valentine, an NPC asks if the two of them are sweethearts. If Ninten says "no", the person questions if they feel anything at all budding between them.
At the safehouse on Mt Itoi, Teddy acknowledges that the two of them probably want to be alone, and leaves them to enter the back bedroom by themselves. Once inside, Ana blocks the door. She asks Ninten to stay with her. Ninten agrees, and Ana suggests they dance. Ninten and Ana dance around the room, and at the end, Ana asks Ninten if he loves her. Ninten can say yes, and Ana tells Ninten that she has loved him for a long time, even since she saw him in her dream. Teddy then walks in on them, asking why they are blushing.
In the ending of the game, Ana returns to Snowman and parts with Ninten and Lloyd. She doesn't want to forget them by saying "goodbye", instead just "until next time". Later she receives a letter from Ninten and imagines him smiling while reading it. She wishes to meet up with him again soon since she misses him so much.

Fanon[]
Nintenana is the most popular ship for MOTHER, but less popular in the EarthBound fandom overall. This is likely due to it being from the oldest and least known MOTHER game, and the ship is often regarded as being underrated. Their dance scene is commonly referenced, as it is a memorable moment from the game. It's also praised for having Ana outwardly state that she has feelings toward Ninten, rather than leaving it ambiguous, like Nesspaula. Sometimes Ninten and Ana are thought to be Ness's parents, due to the semi-popular "Ninten is Ness's dad" theory. Nintenana is also sometimes seen as the MOTHER equivalent of EarthBound's Nesspaula, and rivals Clausten and Nintenlloyd.

- Ana follows directly behind Ninten (second in line) even if she joins the party after Lloyd. Due to the way her sprite looks, she may appear to walk closer to Ninten than she does to Lloyd.
- Due to the game's non-linearity, it is possible to have Ana join the party before Lloyd (only in the original Famicom version), completely skip the dance scene, or beat the game without Ninten ever meeting Ana.
- It is also possible to perform a humourous glitch after Ana leaves the party by blocking the safehouse's back room door, in which Ninten teleports or uses the Onyx Hook in order to escape the room. Ana can't rejoin the party after this.
- In the official MOTHER novel, Ninten is instead the one who has a crush on Ana, with Ana disliking Ninten. In fact, when he first meets her in the novel, Ninten thinks she is pretty but Ana slaps him as she read his mind using PSI.
