Nublar Six is the friendship between Darius Bowman, Yasmina Fadoula, Sammy Gutierrez, Kenji Kon, Ben Pincus, and Brooklynn from the Jurassic Park fandom.
Canon[]
Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous[]
The group first meet when they all arrive at Isla Nublar for their week at Camp Cretaceous. They are all there for different reasons; Kenji and Ben because of their parents' connections, Brooklynn and Yasmina for their reputations, Darius because he won a contest, and Sammy because she is secretly working for Mantah Corp. The six of them couldn't be more different from each other, and they get off on a bit of a rocky start. Yaz is quiet and reserved, and reluctant to make friends. Sammy is working behind the scenes to send secret information to Mantah Corp, which forces her to lie to the other campers. Ben is frightened of everything, and unable to let loose and have a good time.
Eventually, however, a disaster shakes Jurassic World. The Nublar Six are separated from their camp counsellors, and forced to work together to find a way off the island as the entire park is evacuated. They work together, facing a Carnotaurus on their way to the island docks. Despite all their best efforts, the group is too late. They are seperated from Ben, who they believe to be killed from a fall from the monorail. Left alone, the remaining five campers set up a home, of sorts, on the now uninhabited Isla Nublar.
Jurassic World: Chaos Theory[]
The group reunite with each other six years after the events of Camp Cretaceous. They have mostly gone their seperate ways in the intervening years, but keep in contact with each other. Sammy and Yaz are still together, but dating long distance due to Yaz attending a new university that promises to be "dino free". Kenji and Brooklynn have a relationship that is on the rocks, and she eventually ends things with him as she becomes embroiled in a deep scandal about dinosaur broking. In the midst of her investigation, Brooklynn is severely injured. The rest of the Nublar Six believe she has died, and are wracked with guilt.
While Brooklynn hides from the people who tried to kill her, she longs to see her friends again and tell them that she is okay. However, she knows that she must stay quiet to save their lives. Meanwhile, the remaining members of the Nublar Six are being hunted and are forced to go on the run together to stay alive and uncover the truth of Brooklynn's "death". Their investigation eventually leads them to Senegal. Brooklynn, who is now working deep undercover, arrives in Senegal a few days after the others. They meet each other at one of the broker's facilities, and everyone is shocked to learn that Brooklynn is alive; Kenji most of all. They beg Brooklynn to come with them back home, but she tells the rest of the Nublar Six that she is no longer the Brooklynn that she once knew. She leaves Africa with the broker, refusing to look back at her friends.
However, before she leaves she returns Bumpy's egg to the group, proving that she still cares for them deeply.
Fanon[]
The friendship between the six main characters of Camp Cretaceous and Chaos Theory is one of the most popular pairings in the fandoms. Fans love the relationship between the Nublar Six, which started as reluctant friendship and later turned into a form of found family. When it was suggested that Brooklynn was dead in the first trailers for Chaos Theory, fans were devastated to learn that one of the Nublar Six had died. However, the mood quickly turned when it was revealed that Brooklynn had merely faked her death.
While Nublar Six is generally seen as a purely platonic relationship, there are some who choose to ship the characters in a polycule. More commonly, however the characters will be paired up as Yasammy, Darilynn, and Benji, or Yasammy, Kenlynn, and Benrius.
