NuoLi is the femslash ship between Loli and Wang Nuonuo from the To Be Hero X fandom.

Season One[]
Episode 13 - "Tough Girl"[]
The two girls first met when Loli went up against Ghostblade, who was stalking Wang Nuonuo. After Ghostblade runs off, Wang Nuonuo helps Loli and comments that she didn't expect to see such a cute girl underneath a suit. Loli dejectedly walks off leaving Wang Nuonuo behind in the alleyway. The two meet again at the Glimmer Lab, which is owned by Loli's father. The two instantly hit it off, with them redesigning and fixing up her suit. Wang Nuonuo opens up about her struggles to get the job she wanted, with her initially being reduced to being a receptionist despite wanting to work within the lab itself. Wang Nuonuo describes that Luo, Loli's dad, invited her to join his team. The two have a heart to heart talking about their fathers, specifically confiding about their father's absence in their lives. Later that night, the girls go out to drink and take a selfie together. That's when Wang Nuonuo notices her stalker outside, to which Loli writes a message on the restaurant's window to 'fight back' against him. Loli helps a drunken Wang Nuonuo back to the laboratory as a place to rest. She tells Loli that she has to become a hero, so that people will take them seriously which Loli is inspired by.
Episode 14 - "Impromptu Counterattack"[]
Wang Nuonuo receives a phone call from her stalker (GhostBlade), who remains on the other end of the line. Loli, in particular, gets aggravated when hearing his breathing over the phone realizing he's the same guy from earlier. Loli hangs up on him, when the Glimmer Lab is attacked by DJ Shindig. Believing the person who infiltrated Glimmer Lab is her stalker, the inebriated Wang Nuonuo rushes out of the saferoom to go confront him encouraged by Loli's words about 'fighting back' earlier night saying that she won't let him come for Loli as well.
Loli suits up and goes to rescue Wang Nuonuo from the DJ Shindig. When Loli is put in a difficult place, Wang Nuonuo sobers up and uses her phone to give Loli a weapon that she programmed for her. After Loli defeats DJ Shindig, Wang Nuonuo gives Loli a hug before they're forced to evacuate. Wang Nuonuo defends Loli from her father, saying that she is a hero and has saved her twice.
Episode 19 - "Breaking the Balance”[]
After a conversation between Loli and her father, Wang Nuonuo affirms Loli and gives her a kiss on the cheek while declaring that becoming Loli's friend was the 'joy' of her life.
Episode 20 - "The Ruins Incident"[]
Loli goes up against the Original Nice in order to protect her father, Luo, and Wang Nuonuo. While Loli was preoccupied with Nice, her father is murdered while protecting Wang Nuonuo. This is Loli's breaking point causing her to violently lash out against their attackers.
At the end of the episode, Wang Nuonuo is shown comatose in the hospital.

Fanon[]
Loli x Wang Nuonuo is a relatively popular ship in To Be Hero X. Currently, the two have 20+ fan works on A03 based on the first season. NuoLi is each other's most popular ships romantically. Fans ship them because of their close relationship with one another in the anime. Shipping ramped up after episode nineteen where Wang Nuonuo kissed Loli on the cheek, which resulted in both girls blushing. Considering Li Haoling's inclusion of queer subtext and themes in other shows he has directed (i.e. Heaven Official's Blessing (BL) and Link Click), some fans speculate that the romantic undertones of NuoLi and Wrice's relationships are intentional.
