Omori is a role-playing video game made by Omocat.
Plot[]
Omori (stylized as OMORI) is a 2020 psychological horror game created by Omocat, an independent studio. It was released in December 2020 and is based on the director's Omori (hikikomori) webcomic series. The game incorporates psychological horror aspects and prominently features concepts such as anxiety and depression. The player takes control of Sunny, a hikikomori youngster, and Omori, his dream world alter-ego. To conquer their anxieties and secrets, they explore both the real world and the bizarre dream realm. The player's decisions determine how they interact, leading to one of several endings. The game's turn-based battle system contains unique status effects based on the characters' emotional states.
