Owax is the family ship between Owen and Max from the Total Drama fandom.
Canon[]
In "Dissing Cousins", it was International Cousins Day at Total Drama Daycare and Chef thought that it would be a nice treat if he invited people's cousins over to visit. Owen was very horrified to hear that Chef invited his cousin, Max. Owen begged Chef not to have Max over because he knew how evil and villainous Max was but Chef didn't believe a word he said. When Max showed up, he entered the daycare on a rising chair through the floor and went guns-a-blazing, acting as evil as he could possibly act, just as Owen dreaded. Max made a challenge with the daycare kids, saying that he was holding auditions for someone to become his evil henchman and he needed them to participate in a series of challenges to please him. Owen knew this was going to be trouble because this wasn't the first time Max had done something like this. A flashback showed Max and Owen going to the zoo, where Max tested out all of Owen's toys to see which one could be his evil minion. Max dumped all of Owen's toys into the lion exhibit, where they were all torn apart and mauled by lions. This traumatic experience scarred Owen even to this day. Owen decided the best thing he could do in this situation was to join the minion competition to make sure the other kids wouldn't get hurt.
When Owen joined the competition, Max accepted his invitation and told Owen that he always did think that he would serve as a great evil henchman. Max even assured Owen that if all goes well, they two could even become friends. Owen's face lit up when he heard this, as he'd always longed to actually get along with his cousin. But he knew still that his primary goal here was to protect his friends from all of Max's evil tricks and traps. After putting himself through tons of harm, Owen had ruined Max's competition, which angered his maniacal cousin. For Max's final challenge, Max held The Test of Toxic Troubles, where people were supposed to walk across a balance beam over a vat of toxic acid, which Owen completed without trouble. Max then demanded that Owen kick the plank out from under the others to kill them but Owen refused his cousins orders because he would never hurt his friends in such a way, whether it was International Cousins Day or not.
After having a nice little conversation with Gwen, Owen thought that he would let Ella join Max's minion competition. Max would reject Ella's audition to become his henchman, despite her success during the contests. Max insulted Ella by saying that he didn't like her, which angered her so much that she turned into a viscous, fire-breathing dragon and picked up Max with her teeth and prepared to drop him into the vat of toxic acid to kill him. Fortunately for Max, Owen saved his life by snatching him up with a snake and throwing a cake at Ella. Max was so grateful to Owen for saving his life and thanked him for this and the two finally became friends. Max promised to stop trying to hurt Owen's friends but he did not promise to stop destroying Owen's toys.
Fanon[]
Some people have made fanart of Owen and Max together as teenagers, since they were only seen together as toddlers. Their chemistry together as their current selves could be slightly different, yet remains unexplored in the official series canon. This allows for fan interpretation to be exhibited through fan works to see what Owen and Max might be like in present day.
