Owitty is the het ship between Owen and Kitty from the Total Drama fandom.
Canon[]
Owen and Kitty were both contestants who competed on The Ridonculous Race together. They were on separate teams, with Owen being paired with Noah on the "Reality TV Pros" team and Kitty being paired with Emma on the "Sisters" team. It didn't take long for Owen and Kitty to start fraternizing with each other on account of their shared senses of humor and bizarre interests. During their time together, Owen and Kitty became quick friends and, in spite of Emma's opposition, Kitty started an alliance with Owen. One thing that drew Owen and Kitty closer together as friends was their respective teammates falling in love. When Owen and Kitty found out about Noah and Emma's blossoming romance, they worked together to try and push them closer together until they became an official couple. However, both parties in the latter ship refused to accept their love for each other. Owen and Kitty were not accepting this as an answer and had to team up as a matchmaker duo to help force Noah and Emma's love. Eventually, Noah and Emma ended up becoming boyfriend and girlfriend, much to the delight of Owen and Kitty, who grew closer as friends because of their success. When Emma and Noah dated, their best friends, Owen and Kitty, started having nice conversations with each other too, as part of the big friend group. However, Owen and Kitty would soon realize that Noah and Emma's relationship was causing them to get distracted and endangering their chances of winning the game. This led to an hourglass plot to take place where now, it was Owen and Kitty who had to be the serious ones on team, dragging Noah and Emmy along for the rest of the game. Soon, Emma came to the realization that she should dump Noah so she and Kitty could focus on winning. As such, Kitty was forbidden to talk to her friend, Owen anymore. However, this separation only lasts for about two episodes as soon, Emma regretted dumping Noah and got back together with him, completely unmotivated by the meddling of Owen and Kitty. At the end of that episode, Owen and Noah are eliminated for losing the challenge. However, the four of them were still shown together in the finale, as the aforementioned friend group of four. This means that to this day, Owen and Kitty are still good friends and are most likely still in close contact with each other, given how their best friends, Noah and Emma, are still dating.

Owitty is a fairly popular ship in the fandom due to many factors, with the primary one being how well the two work together in terms of chemistry. Owen and Kitty both share the personality traits of being wild and crazy, fun-loving lunatics, who treat life less like a business and more like a party, which makes them excellent foils to their respective counterparts, (Noah and Emma), who are more serious and business oriented. The second thing that brings them together is in the same vein as their respective counterparts, who became boyfriend and girlfriend, themselves. Fans find it more than appropriate for a couple of besties to be dating another group of besties, making the two couples one giant interlinked friend group.
Fans find it strange how Owen and Kitty, themselves, never got together, despite both of them being single at the time, (what with Izzy dumping Owen in Jamaica to go work for the Canadian Government and all and also with Kitty having no established love interest aside from Mickey having a crush on her but never asking her out). At no point during the series, did either of them really ever consider their feelings for one another as they were mostly preoccupied with Noah and Emma, making it ambiguous what would happen if they actually did try to get together. Even without the potential romantic aspect of their relationship, Owen and Kitty were a really good pair as friends.
