PaperHat is the slash ship between Doctor Flug (Full name: "Kenning Flugslys") and Black Hat from the Villainous fandom.
Canon[]
Shorts[]
In "The Perception of Evil" Flug makes a control that creates the thing you are most afraid of. At first Black Hat gets mad at Flug for creating a sandwich and takes away the control from him, creating another Black Hat. Proudly Black Hat says that it worked since he can't think of anything more terrible than him, giving the control back to Flug.
In "Horribly Heavy" Black Hat attempts to show an anti-gravity ray gun Flug created off but is confused, as it appears to not be a ray gun. Dr. Flug explains that in fact, not a ray gun. Black Hat tests it, which causes everything in the room to float including him and Flug. Flug explained it is a sort of anti-gravity field generator, making Black Hat become enraged and asks him what kind of idiot would like to have their room floating. Demencia chews on the device and presses the button, deactivating it and making both Flug and Black Hat hit the ground. She presses it again and everyone started floating again, causing Black Hat to get mad. It floats over to 5.0.5. (who wasn't floating) but gets nervous and eats it. Black Hat states how much he hates them as he keeps floating with Flug and Demencia.
Black Hat and Flug floating thanks to the anti-gravity field generator
In "Bigger, Badder" Black Hat presents a size altering ray gun. Dr. Flug explains how it works while Black Hat proceeds to use it on 5.0.5., who successfully shrinks. Dr. Flug asks if he likes it, to which he angrily answers obviously yes, accidentally using the ray gun to grow 5.0.5. to a gigantic size while Flug and Black watch in a shocked way. The bear then l breaks the manor in a half and gets outside causing chaos to the city. Black Hat makes the best of the situation by attempting to advertise 5.0.5. as a weapon of destruction pushing Flug away from the camera.
In "Sculpting Evil", Flug made a machine wich can create a statue of the most important thing to you in your life. Flug tried it and a statue of a bitter Black Hat appeared much to Black Hat's anger. He pushed him up and created and statue much better for his pleasure. 5.0.5. pressed the buttom making Black Hat get mad so Flug tried to fix it and made another statue of Black Hat sitting on him, which he tells that's better. Later everyone bega frantically pressing the button to activate the device and after many failed attemps of doing a statue, Black Hat got enraged and stopped all the chaos. He tried to do one last statue but Flug told him the power of the machine was over, so the last statue that was created ended up being all of the members happily hugging each other, enraging Black Hat and causing him to rip his own face off out of frustration.
In "Black Hat Challenge I", Black Hat makes Flug participate in a witch hunt. Flug found Demencia disguised as a witch thinking she was it, but she denied and pointed out the real witch, making Flug scared and run.
Comics[]
The comic 5 begins with Dr. Flug, exclaiming about creating the most corrosive and toxic component that was ever created. Flug pours it into the Black Hat cup because it was more resistant and besides it was disintegrating his container, so he planned on poured it there while he looked up for another stronger container.
After a few minutes, Black Hat arrives and looks at the cup disdainfully, which he then drinks. Black Hat then appeared to be repulsed by the taste and spits the component. Black Hat leaves dropping the cup and saying that the component was too sweet for his taste.
Orientation for Villains[]
Most of the Orientation for Villains is both Black Hat and Dr. Flug explaining every weaknesses and strength of every villain and hero. Although they seem to have a constant bad relationship there are moments of peace and cordiality in which Black Hat consistently refers to Flug with respect; calling him respectfully "doctor", debating and sharing opinions between the two, like in the episode "Lost Cases of the Future".
In times where Black Hat gets enraged or when he doesn't want to keep reviewing a villain, Flug continues the orientation video, or even Black Hat orders him to bring the villain or hero to him, like in "The Lost Cases of Boxmore" and "The Lost Cases of the Park".
Episodes[]
In "The Dreadful Dawn", A hero called Goldheart starts mocking Dr. Flug, only for him to pull out a ray gun and destroy the hero. The sky then goes red as Black Hat appears and congratulates Flug on his work. Flug appears to be thrilled by this and thanks him. Suddenly, Black Hat says "Mayday" repeatedly. The scene then cuts to an alarm clock (which was saying "Mayday" repeatedly), revealing that it was merely Flug's dream. Then the trio was sent to a mission to help the villain Penumbra. Flug promises Black Hat he won't fail him which he replies he shouldn't for his own good.
Planning on how to defeat Sunblast, they got in trouble and instead they started to guide the heroe to Hat Island. Black Hat calls them since he realized they were returning. Flug was completely frightened since he knew he was in big trouble. Instead he lied and told him they were going to defeat the villain in his very eyes. Later that is what he did and along Demencia and 5.0.5 they defeated Sunblast, but Black Hat became enraged with the trio since they brought a hero to the mansion. Later, the three of them go the idea to run.
In "Boo!-Lldozing" Dr. Flug, 5.0.5 and Demencia are fighting the hero Ringworm with little success. Once they are summoned back by Black Hat with his enormous powers (who remarks on the mediocreness of their job with the hero), they are given the mission of stopping Bulldozer from destroying the haunted mansion and acquiring its deed. Flug deduces the hero looks like he might be afraid of the thing he most loves but doesn't admit it, and Black Hat appears on his back scarring and telling him everyone's afraid of something.
In “Satellite Secrets”, Flug tried to watch his favorite TV show but Black Hat sends him with the team to help the villain V.I.R.U.S. At the end of the episode Flug tried to watch his show but V.IR.U.S told him a spoiler devastating him, much to Black Hat's joy.
Fanon[]
Flug regards him with equal parts fear and respect. Because of this, he constantly sucks up to Black Hat and wants nothing more than his approval, something he will really never get. In The Dreadful Dawn, Black Hat finally compliments him on a job well done, only for Flug to wake up and realize it was just a dream. Despite his poor treatment, Flug has a place of high importance in Black Hat's Organization, being one of the three allowed to live in the manor with him (the others being Demencia and 5.0.5.).
Flug has also been with the Organization the longest of the main cast and seems to have a level of authority in the organization because of this. However, this authority only goes so far, as Black Hat constantly reminds him how lucky he is to still be alive after all his mishaps.
Right now this is the most popular ship in the Villainous fandom. Even if it isn't a canon or semi-canon ship like PaperHeart or LizardHat, this ship is currently most accepted on the fandom, being the most written ship for Black Hat and Dr- Flug.
