Peachamy is the femslash ship between Peach and Amy from the Super Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog fandoms.
Canon[]
Peach and Amy have not met in either a solely Mario or Sonic media. Their only meeting in a video game is currently the Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games series.
In the story mode of the Nintendo 3DS version of Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games, Peach helped Amy prepare invitations for the athletes who were to take part in the Olympics. After a debated Peach was in on whether or not they should delay Dr. Eggman’s invitation, Amy agreed to stay and help Peach and let Sonic get his invitation like everybody else. When Amy voiced her intention to go with Daisy, Peach insisted that she stayed and helped them distribute the invitations. Peach teamed up with Blaze against Amy, who teamed up with Daisy. After Peach's duo won, she agreed to let them all take a break in Hyde Park first.
In the 2014 version of the same game, they both have their original and only animations when you choose Peach with Mario, or Amy with Sonic in the ice skating competition. This reason is because both girls are considered to be the main love interest for the protagonists.
While Peach is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. games, Amy appears only on collectible items, starting with Brawl as a sticker and trophy.
Fanon[]
Although its popularity is overshadowed by popular rival ships such as Mareach and Sonamy, Peachamy remains existing since the 2000s, that even it can be considered one of the earliest ships in the Sonic fandom thanks to fans creating fan art of them together on published video game magazines of that time. The popularity of this ship has increased considerably in 2007 thanks to Nintendo and Sega's announcement of the Mario & Sonic series, and therefore, the pairing become common in both fandoms. Some of the ship's fanart is base on the Mario & Sonic series, as they draw the two in their pink sports wear, their winter clothes being the most common one as fans draw Amy and Peach in a winter setting or have them ice skating together. There have also been fans who draw the two swapping clothes with one another, for fun and even role swap AUs between their two game series where Peach and Amy are seen as their main female characters.
The couple swap ships, Soneach and Mariamy, however, has fans depict the two as love rivals for Sonic or Mario’s hearts. The bitterness fans have the two display towards one another is also due to the old rivalry between their two separate game series, until the Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games series inspired them to either have Amy and Peach team up with one another (mostly with Daisy and Blaze or Cream with them on a Girl Power team) or to compete against each other in the events. This can have Peachamy as a femslash version of SonMario.
Some fans ship them romantically or simply as friends mainly because pink is their signature color. This fact has also placed them in groups of other pink characters who are a bit similar to them; like Peach and Amy’s kind nature and doing what they can to help their friends save innocent people. Like in a few other Sonic related ships, fans have drawn Peach as a hedgehog like Amy or have Amy as a human.
While the ship has little support on fanbase websites like AO3, FanFiction.net, DeviantArt and Tumblr, and isn't as popular as SonMario, Peachamy still has a small group of loyal fans. Even if most of those fans prefer to ship them as friends.

Trivia[]
- Most Mario & Sonic trailers have Amy and Peach standing not so far away from each other. Some of the cutscenes depict both after one another.
- On the release day of Princess Peach: Showtime!, the official Sonic Twitter released a congratulations to Peach from Amy.[1]
