Pearlsidian is the femslash ship between Pearl and Obsidian from the Honkai: Star Rail fandom.
Canon[]
Pearl and Obsidian are both characters from Honkai: Star Rail who are both employees of the Interastral Peace Corporation, the Strategic Investment Department, and the Ten Stonehearts within it. Despite this, there has yet to be any canonical interactions between the two.
When the Ten Stonehearts were gathered to decide Aventurine's fate, Obsidian voted for both herself and Agate for Aventurine's punishment and expulsion, while also saying how the trail was too timid and she would prefer a "bloodbath." Pearl voted for both herself and Amber in favor of Aventurine remaining within the Stonehearts, with Amber preferring to stay neutral and Pearl stating how she believed the man deserved more "justice" in his life. Obsidian ranks third in the Ten Stonehearts, while Pearl's ranking remains unknown. In the IPC as a whole, Obsidian is a P46 employee, while Pearl is a P45. These levels for both of them give them the titles of 'Senior Manager's.

Pearlsidian is a rarepair ship within the fandom that appeared after the trailer, Stoneheart's Oath Ring: Both Ends of the Scale regarding Aventurine's fate came out. The trailer introduced all members of the Ten Stonehearts besides Diamond. The trailer included Obsidian and Pearl. Obsidian was shown bathing in pomegranate in a dark, elegant room with her hair tied up and adorned with a black crown. Pearl was shown floating in light-blue numbers of binary code. Because of their color difference of dark red and light blue, fandom shippers took a liking to both of them in particular.
Fans have also explored adding certain tropes to the ship, as current information about both is scarce. Currently, Pearl is confirmed to be a robot of sorts—an Intellitron. However, due to the themes of both, fans have speculated that Obsidian is a sort of vampire and Pearl is an ocean-themed robot. The personalities of the two clashing (due to their separate votes) have led most fans to take on an enemies to lovers outlook on the two. The two also appear to have very different personalities, as Pearl appears to be polite and calm, whilst Obsidian has shown some sadistic traits, and appears to be slightly crazy. Some fans also like to go to the opposite side of the trope and associate Pearlsidian with a masochism-type relationship instead. Additionally, despite neither of the two having revealed character designs, artists of the fandom have made fanart of them using the bits of information from the trailer.
Pearlsidian is most popular among Western fans, particularly those who identify as sapphics or queers. The primary headcanons for the two characters focus on lesbian sexuality; however, there are various headcanons or variants of sexuality that are also common.
