PennyMoore is the femslash ship between Julia Pennyworth and Sophie Moore from the Batwoman fandom.

Canon

Season 1

THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS

Sophie walks into an apartment, only to see a dead body. A bullet is then about to hit her, only for a woman to knock her to the side. She lands on top of Sophie, revealed to be Julia, and says that couldn't have been any closer. Sophie asks what just happened, and Julia explains that someone put a bounty on her head, so she's hear to protect her. She says that they need to get out, but Sophie asks how she knows who she is. Julia says that she's also Kate's ex, and is happy to tell her everything, after they deal with the bullet in her arm.

A NARROW ESCAPE

Sophie tells Jacob that she's not ready to run a strategy team herself, when Julia comes over and says that her agency tells her that she's apparently been recruited to run a strat team. Sophie corrects her to co-run, and Jacob leaves the two alone. Julia asks where Sophie wants to start, and Sophie decides she wants to start with burgers. Good ones, and not the garbage ones she's been bringing to the motel all week. Julia says she can make fun, but Sophie's buying. Sophie's gonna use the company card and tells Julia she'll get hers at orientation.

A SECRET KEPT FROM ALL THE REST

Sophie is waiting when Julia comes by. Sophie asks her what the damage is, and Julia says that the medic thinks she'll heal eventually. Sophie takes her hand and the two lovingly stare at each other. The two then kiss and when they pull apart Julia teases her. Sophie says that she's glad she's okay, and Julia says that she is as well. They kiss again and when they seperate, they realize that Kate is right there. Sophie then awkwardly leaves so that Julia and Kate can talk.

PennyMoore was well liked when the two started interacting. Though they were part of a love triangle with Kate, many people saw the two of them getting together as very viable option. As they saw how much chemistry the two have. As well as for many, the only solution to a love triangle is to cut out the axis. Many were excited when the two got together, and were excited to see how their relationship would develop. Even possibly looking forward to a possible poly relationship involving Kate as well. However, many were disappointed when the second season started with the two breaking up offscreen. Many finding it forced and a lazy way to write the characters out of a relationship. Especially as it just went back to Kate instead of anything about their actual relationship.

On AO3, PennyMoore is the most written ship for Julia and the fourth most written for Sophie. There are currently 50 written works.
