Pensami is the femslash ship between Penny Fitzgerald and Masami Yoshida in the The Amazing World of Gumball fandom.

Canon

THE PRESSURE

Penny and Masami were both in Molly's treehouse with her. Although Penny adored Molly's treehouse and complimented the interior, Masami found it completely boring. Masami also shamed Penny for not having a boyfriend, even though Penny was the only one being honest in that treehouse. Masami also lied to Penny, claiming that she was dating Darwin, which really came to Penny's shock. Penny was skeptical about this at first before Masami proved to her that she was dating him, by acting like she was his girlfriend at school. In the height of all this boyfriend talk from Masami, Penny was inspired to try and get a boyfriend her self, so she sought love with Gumball.

Masami became an abusive girlfriend toward Darwin and annoyed him into hiding. When Darwin was hiding from Masami, Masami went all around looking for her. At the same time, Penny was looking for Gumball, when he was distracted trying to save Darwin from Masami. The two girls asked each other where their boyfriends were but neither of them knew. They also didn't know what the sound of Gumball belly-flopping into the water was. Penny later walked off, telling Masami that she'll see her later at Molly's treehouse.

At Molly's treehouse, Penny was about to kiss Gumball and Masami was about to kiss Darwin but thanks to Tobias and Banana Joe chopping down the tree, Gumball slid out of the way, knocked Masami over, and the two boys ended up kissing. The two girls just looked at them in complete and total shock.

THE STORM

Penny was worried when Masami freaked out and turned into a hurricane of madness. When Gumball tried to calm Masami down, Penny stopped him and said that he'll only make things worse. She instead chose to go and calm her down, herself. As soon as she started talking to Masami, Masami blasted her across the hallways with a gust of wind to shut her up. This made Penny decide to let Gumball talk to her after all.

Fanon

Pensami is a rarepair in the fandom, with most people seeing Penny and Masami working better as friends. The ship is greatly overshadowed by Penball, as people preferring to ship Penny with her can boyfriend, Gumball. However, this still leaves the question of who Masami should end up dating. Other rival ships for Masami include, Darsami and Alansami, both of which are greatly overshadowed by their own rival ships, Carwin and Carlan, respectively. This makes things very difficult for Masami, when it comes to finding love, leaving Pensami as one of her only hopes.
