Pentniss is the slash ship between Sir Pentious and Arackniss from the Hazbin Hotel fandom.

Pentious and Arackniss have never met. As Arakniss has yet to appear in the series itself. With Sir Pentious being redeemed and sent to heaven at the end of season one, it is unlikely that the two ever will.
Fanon[]
Before the main series itself, Arackniss was heavily shipped with Sir Pentious. Making it the main ship of Arackniss, though this may chance once he appears in the series. With Pentious in Heaven as a redeemed soul, it's unknown if the two will ever meet in canon. Though some fans of the ship are hoping that the two do find away to meet, by having Arackniss join Pentious in Heaven, or that the two could have met before the events of the series. Either as ex-lovers or simply cross paths, with Pentious facing Arackniss's brother in battle; whenever Angel was aiding Cherri.
Due to Arackniss's mob origins, is suspected to still be part of it in Hell beside his father, and the fact that homosexual is seen as incompatible with the American Mafia code of conduct, fans had thought of Pentious as the spider demon's gay awakening. Along with there being a common theme that falls under the Forbidden Romance trope, as Arackniss keeps his relationship with Pentious a secret from his father, or had left the Mafia to be with the man he loves. For when fanworks of this path don't have Arackniss being thrown out of the Mafia, because he chose to love a man.
Thanks to fan projects, like the comic audio series drama of Arackniss by AxelGear on YouTube, it has managed to keep the ship and the support surrounding it alive among fans of Angel Dust's brother. Since the fan made series has Pentniss as it's main focused ship, along with creating an OC that serves as Pen's ex-boyfriend who still has feelings for him; creating drama and a love triangle. Even though YouTube had removed Axel's previous channel and videos on the fans series, he was still able to create a new channel for the retelling of his season one Arackniss fan series, Arackniss Rewind. While still keeping the romance and drama between Pentious and Arackniss, one of the things that fans love about Axel's fan-made series.
Hard-core Pentniss fans sometimes find themselves leading towards CherriSnake, after it was confirmed to be canon, but don't wish to fully abandon the ship they have supported since the pilot. So in order to prevent a ship war between them and people wouldn't be forced to choose which ship to support, a poly between Pentious, Arackniss and Cherri was created. Since some people have speculated that Cherri might have learned about Arackniss from Angel, and she has a turf war history with Pentious.
On AO3, Pentniss is the second most written ship for Sir Pentious and the most written for Arackniss. There are currently 380+ written works.
