Tren is the slash ship between Tree and Pen from the Battle for Dream Island fandom.
Canon[]
Battle for BFDI[]
They both get on the team Death PACT. When Pen says their team needs a name, Tree says he doesn't have any ideas. When Pen blows the basket to X, Tree and the others cheer for him.
Tree is the only member of Death P.A.C.T. who is happy to see Pen and Pie recovered.
Tree criticized Pen for asking Black Hole to do the challenges, despite asking Black Hole to do it seconds later.
Tree and Pen huddle together for comfort as Four judges A Better Name Than That's drawing. When Four is judging the drawing, Tree puts his hand on Pen's shoulder. Pen takes Tree's hand off his shoulder, but after Four makes a shocked reaction towards the drawing, he puts his hand back on his shoulder.
After Pen hears a noise, Tree reminds his team to keep their eyes closed, not that Pen listens.
While Tree was stuck in Bottle, Pen starts blaming him for not doing the challenge. Tree responds in a muffled and annoyed tone that he's trying.
Pen says that it's clear that they can't rely on Tree to do anything and that they have to do everything themselves.
Tree tries to open Four's mouth, but Pen tells Tree to step aside and Tree watches as Pen manages to get Four to open his mouth.
The Power of Two[]
Tree remembers that they only took Pen in when he was the last one picked, and doesn't seem to mind when he leaves.
Pen is about to recover Eraser, however Tree pushes him out of the way to recover Bottle. The two share a few akward glances as he does that.

Tren is a popular ship in the Battle for Dream Island fandom. It became popular due to BFB 4, Today's Very Special Episode, during the scene where Tree and Pen were nervous about being up for elimination and Tree tries hugging Pen. Though the ship has lost a lot of popularity due to both not interacting much and being on different teams. This ship's rivals are Astrobiology (Tree x Black Hole) and Penraser (Pen x Eraser). These two are also are sometimes shipped in a poly relationship with Black Hole, making TrenHole.
