Perelyan is the slash ship between Percival and Elyan from the BBC Merlin fandom.
Canon[]
The Coming of Arthur[]
Percival and Elyan meet at the end of season three when Morgana takes over Camelot. Arthur makes them both Knights of the Round Table. They help Arthur along with the other Knights to take back Camelot.
The Darkest Hour[]
A year later, both Percival and Elyan are still Knight of Camelot. Morgana had release the Dorocha, a deadly spirt killing villagers. During a patrol, Percival saves three children from being killed by the Dorocha but leaves himself vuranble to the spirt. However, he is saved by Elyan who uses fire to scare the spirt away.
The Sword in the Stone[]
Elyan was taken prisoner when Morgana invaded Camelot again but Percival managed to get away. Elyan was tortured for information about Arthur's whereabouts and was imprisoned along side Gaius and Gwaine. They are later recused by Leon and Percival. Percival asks if Elyan is alright and he resposed in a joking manner about having to be locked up with Gwaine.
The Dark Tower[]
Elyan dies from a sword wound when saving his sister, Gwen, from Morgana. He was given a Viking funeral and Percival is showed to visible upset in the background of the funeral.
Fanon[]
Perelyan isn't a rare pair ship in the Merlin fandom, but isn't that common either. Mostly due to their late entry into the series and limited screen time together. Many fans of this ship note that although Percival and Elyan their shared time was limited, the time they do spend together can be viewed as homoerotic. Some people joke that Elyan's unseen girlfriend is actually secretly Percival the whole time. Many are also very big fans of the height difference.
On AO3, Perelyan is the most written ship for Elyan and the third most written for Percial. There are currently 130+ written works.
