The current requirements for ship pages are:
- 20 sentences split between the canon and fanon sections, with content in both sections.

Buferemy is the slash ship between Buford Van Stomm and Jeremy Johnson.

In "That Sinking Feeling", Buford provided ambiance for Jeremy and Candace on their date. He dangled from a rope above their table, dressed as Cupid, and stuck his feet in Jeremy's face. Jeremy was a little thrown off by this and told Candace that he "enjoys having a kid's feet in [his] face as much as the next guy" but would rather be going to Slushy Burger for their date.
In "Wizard of Odd", Candace had a dream about all of her friends being in a Wizard of Oz parody. Jeremy was playing the role of a tree and Buford was a lion-tiger-bear hybrid, both of which joined her on her journey to Bustopolis. Jeremy thought that he was a tree because he was wearing a tree costume. Buford helped "turn him human" by unzipping his costume to set him free from it. Jeremy danced around, celebrating no longer being a tree, only to realize that he was running around in his underwear. Buford confirmed that he was, indeed, dancing around in his underwear. Embarrassed, Jeremy picked up his tree costume and walked off to look for some clothes.
In "Chez Platypus", Buford worked as the bouncer for Chez Platypus and refused to grant Candace and Jeremy entry to the restaurant. However, he did let a bunch of total strangers into the restaurant, leaving Candace and Jeremy waiting all night. Candace was understandably infuriated with Buford's rudeness but Jeremy was patient, saying that he didn't mind waiting a bit. After the restaurant was taken away, Candace and Jeremy had a nice date in the backyard, with Buford playing violin for them.
Reboot[]
In "A Chip to the Vet", Buford came up to Jeremy when he was working at Mr. Slushy Dawg and started inappropriately flirting with him, despite store policy forbidding that. Jeremy told Buford that he was already warned once about his flirting, which suggested that this incident had happened before. Buford would soon after help Phineas and Ferb build their Pet Grooming While U-Wait, eating a chili dog, which was served up to him by Jeremy.
In "The Candace Suit", Buford dressed up as Candace and went on a date with Jeremy. He went up to him at Mr. Slushy Dawg and flirted with him. Jeremy, not knowing that it was Buford, responded to his advances and went out to share a milkshake with him. He even winked at Buford, being absolutely none the wiser.
In "No Slumber Party", Buford overheard Candace talking about Jeremy at her slumber party. This peaked his interest so he started listening through the window. Stacy caught him eavesdropping and yelled at him to get out.
Fanon[]
Initially, this ship was practically non-existent, due to their overall lack of on-screen interactions and chemistry in the original series. Howver, Buferemy gained more traction in the reboot, due to the establishment of a running gag where Buford would flirt with Jeremy. This overtly hinted at Buford harboring a romantic attraction toward Jeremy. TikTok certainly noticed this and a few shipping videos of them have popped up on the website. This ship is still in its early stages, since the reboot is brand new and the ship tease scenes are still fresh. However, Buferemy is expected to become a lot more popular as the reboot goes on.

Overview[]
Candace Flynn and Heinz Doofenshmirtz are mostly complete strangers who rarely ever have direct interactions with each other. Whenever they do interact, they generally think very little of each other, not knowing much about each other. However, their lives consistently overlap in ways that they don't know about. Candace's pet platypus, Perry is always sneaking off to fight Doofenshmirtz on his secret double-life as an agent. Doofenshmirtz is always building inators that make Phineas and Ferb's inventions disappear before Candace can bust them to her mom. Neither one of them is aware of the other's persistent impact on their lives.
Candace and Doofenshmirtz would later become a little more knowledgeable of each other when Candace became friends with Doofenshmirtz's daughter, Vanessa. Candace would recognize Doofenshmirtz as Vanessa's dad but really not see him as anything more than that.

The unspoken connection between Candace and Doofenshmirtz is an interesting connection in the fandom, with lots of people enjoying the formula of Doofenshmirtz's inators messing up Candace's chances of busting her brothers. It would be very interesting if Candace and Doofenshmirtz properly met and found out the truth, which would finally put an end to the invention disappearances for good. Several fanfictions have explored these scenarios and found many common grounds that Candace and Doofenshmirtz could share, leading to an unlikely friendship between the two of them.

This family ship stems from a now-debunked conspiracy theory about Phineas and Ferb, suggesting that Heinz Doofenshmirtz is the biological father of Phineas and Candace Flynn as well as the ex-husband of Linda Flynn-Fletcher. The fact that Heinz and Linda are both divorced parents and we never learn who her ex-husband is, leads many to make this connection, which was also seemingly supported by a flashback in "What Do It Do?", revealing that Heinz once dated Linda. However, as confirmed by Dan and Swampy many times before, this is simply not the case in the series canon. This is supported by countless episodes of the show, wherein Doofenshmirtz had met the Flynn kids face-to-face and viewed each other as complete strangers.
Whether they believe it to be true or not, family shippers have wondered what would happen if Heinz and Linda were married, had kids, and then never got divorced, leading Phineas and Candace to be raised in a completely different environment. This alternate-timeline concept opens the door to many opportunities, such as Phineas being raised to be evil and creating inators just like his dad. With Phineas being blessed with positive probability ions, his presence would also lead to Heinz's success in taking over the tri-state area. Other people have wondered how Candace would be affected by this, wondering if she would still be obsessed with busting Phineas and Heinz to her mom or if she would turn evil as well.
Others have played with the concept of Linda and Heinz becoming a blended family, after having kids with their own respective exes, Lawrence and Charlene, which would rope Vanessa and Ferb into the family dynamic too. How this plays out is beyond me.
