PinkieDash is the femslash ship between Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash from the My Little Pony fandom.
Canon[]
Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash are close friends and both of them are apart of the Mane Six including Twilight Sparkle, Fluttershy, Rarity, and Applejack. Pinkie Pie was Rainbow Dash's first friend upon arriving in Ponyville.
Friendship is Magic[]
Season 1[]
In this episode Griffon the Brush Off, Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash bond by playing pranks on the other ponies, but when Rainbow Dash's old friend, Gilda the griffon, shows up for a visit, Pinkie gets left out.
Start with the episode, with Pinkie Pie and Twilight Sparkle spending time in a park, with Pinkie enthusiastically relating some story about Rainbow Dash's aerial acrobatics to Twilight, who is reading a book and not paying Pinkie much attention. Pinkie spots Rainbow flying up above and calls to her, but Rainbow Dash tells her "not now". Pinkie pursues Rainbow Dash and calls out to her, until Rainbow Dash slams into a mountainside and slides down next to Pinkie, who tells her she was going to warn her about it. Pinkie reveals that she was trying to find her so she could help in playing a prank on Spike. Using a nearby thundercloud, they wait for the baby dragon to exit the town square pavilion. Once Spike is out, upon a signal from Pinkie, Dash kicks the cloud to ignite a thunderous boom, scaring him. The scare causes him to hiccup repeatedly. After making sure Spike is okay, the two commence (Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie) a pranking spree on the rest of their friends. They use water colors on the apples in some of Applejack's apple trees, switch Twilight's pen ink with disappearing ink, and use sneezing powder on Rarity. At a nearby lake, when Pinkie learns that Rainbow Dash sees Fluttershy as their target for a fake squirting turtle toy, Pinkie Pie immediately stops her. She warns Rainbow Dash that Fluttershy is too sensitive for even the most harmless of pranks. The two end the day by pranking each other instead by Hoofbumb.
Season 5[]
In the episode Tanks for the Memories, Rainbow Dash tries to stop the arrival of winter, which nearly caused a disaster. Her friends later comes to her home, attempting to put some reason into her. Pinkie, Rarity, and Applejack empathised with her, and cries alongside her.
Season 6[]
In the episode 28 Pranks Later..., after Rainbow pranked Fluttershy (who got through some character development), Twilight and the others confront her about this, except for Pinkie. The pink mare is on Rainbow's side. But after Applejack tells Rainbow that whoopee cushion are a shortcut prank, the latter takes it a challenge and double down on her pranks. Everypony comes to Pinkie to convince Rainbow to stop. She reluctantly agrees but is unable to talk her out of it. Rainbow's new prank is to replace the Cutie Mark Crusaders' cookies with ones filled with rainbow-colored filling, and she's determined to commit it.
Later, Rainbow comes to apologize, but finds Pinkie in bed, visibly sick. Pinkie says that the cookies give her comfort and she freaks out when she runs out of them. Rainbow wishes she gets better and flies away to help to sell the 'trick' cookies. But when night falls, she sees that everypony who had eaten the cookies have been turned into zombies! After running away to seek shelter in Sweet Apple Acres, all of Ponyville's inhabitants follow and surround her, Rainbow claims "This was supposed to be a funny prank! but this isn't funny at all!!!". Suddenly she heard a reply, as all the ponies said "Exactly!" as they revealed it was just a prank, they weren't really zombies. Pinkie Pie told everypony to get together and and prank Rainbow back, which helped Rainbow Dash see that pranking ponies without another thought isn't kind because not everypony likes being pranked.

Fanon[]
PinkieDash is a somewhat popular ship. The two have good (and fun) chemistry. Supporters of the pairing believe that Pinkie Pie compliments Rainbow Dash's erratic behaviour, as, since she feels these mood swings and deals with them on a daily basis, can really understand Rainbow and give her the emotional support she needs. They also have blue and pink coat respectively. (And their eyes are each other's coat color.) They have 53+ works on AO3.
