PoeCott is the het ship between Edgar Allan Poe and Louisa May Alcott from the Bungou Stray Dogs fandom.
Canon[]
Poe and Alcott are both members of The Guild and have a high status there. They have a very similar personalities, especially If it is about their shyness. Both of them are introverts who have problems with communication and start feeling nervous when they have a conversation with someone. Sometimes, during the talk, they begin to blush because of embarrassment. Unlike Poe, Alcott gets easily frightened when approached by strangers.
They also share an interest in writing. Poe often works in writing a detective stories and sometimes he asks Louisa's opinion about his new stories and she gives him some advices. However, Louisa is often seen writing different plans for The Guild using her ability than writing the stories. No matter of that, They are seen to have a good relationship as they see each other as the person that they can trust and ask for help in hurt times.
After the collapse of The Guild, Poe decided to never back there and start a new life. However, one day Louisa request for his help and he agrees because of their friendship and seeing her as "fellow wallflower". Later, in the Perfect Crime Arc, it is revealed that he is back in The Guild as he tells Ranpo that he's a master architect there and ranks third place.
The Guild Arc[]
During the onset of the three companies conflict, all other The Guild members (except Poe and Louisa) arrive as "the package". After defeating the Armed Detective Agency and the Port Mafia, Hawthorne asks where Edgar Allan Poe and Louisa May Alcott are. Margaret answers that they stayed behind due to their shared fear of heights.
Poe asks Louisa what she thinks about his new story.
In Volume 8 Omake, Poe is seen stressing about thinking for a new idea for his novel particularly a method of murder that will shock his readers. Seeing that Poe is struggling to get an idea, Steinbeck points out Lovecraft while the latter shows his arm in eldritch form. Thinking that if he seeks novelty, it could work, Poe chases after Lovecraft telling that he needs him as a model for his novel.
Poe soon gives his rough draft to Alcott and asks for her opinion. Alcott is getting worried as she reads his story and warns him that her opinion may seem a little bit rude. Then, Alcott expresses her thoughts and tells Poe that if he exterminates the whole race in the novel, there will no one responsible to solve the crime. Poe panics after the idea stating that he killed too many people. Meanwhile, Steinbeck tells to Lovecraft that that's what Poe gets for using Lovecraft as a model for his novel.
The Guild Aftermath Arc[]
Poe decides to help Louisa no matter of his promise to stay away from The Guild.
Louisa and Fitzgerald went to their new base and Fitzgerald selects her 82nd plan in her strategy proposals. They meet with Buchanan, and Fitzgerald offers to clear his former employee T. J. Eckleburg's name after being suspected of killing an employee. As Buchanan rejects the deal, Fitzgerald orders Louisa to find someone who can solve the case, knowing that Buchanan seems suspicious; as such, Louisa reaches out to Edgar Allan Poe for his help. Even though Poe did not want to be involved with the Guild any longer, he agrees to help Alcott, considering her as a “fellow wallflower” (or "comrade in shyness".) Later, Poe brings the information of the case to Ranpo in the form of a mystery game, asking him to solve the case. Eventually, after Fitzgerald proves Eckleburg innocent in his trial and acquires Manhasset Security.

PoeCott is a small ship within the Bungou Stray Dogs fandom because Poe and Louisa rarely interact. The rival ship is Ranpoe on Poe's end and MontCott on Louisa's end. On AO3, the ship currently has lees than 10 works written.
