Contestshipping is the most popular ship involving May in the Fandom, and also the most popular ship involving Drew. In Fanfiction, this ship is usually paired with Pokeshipping (Ash x Misty), Ikarishipping (Dawn x Paul), and Leafgreenshipping (Leaf x Gary).
In fanon, Drew commonly mocks May by calling her different months, such as June, July, August, instead of May.
Contestshipping's rivals include Advancedshipping, which is the pairing between Ash and May. However, there are no other common ships involving May or Drew in the Fandom.

CrimsonVelvetShipping is the femslash ship between May and Serena from the Pokémon fandom.
Canon[]
May is a Pokémon coordinator from the Hoenn region, currently known as "The Princess of Hoenn". She initially began her journey with Ash, Brock and Max in the "Advanced Generation" series, where upon she was undecided before, but as she traveled she became self-confident, to the point of entering the Hoenn Grand Festival. For her part, Serena is a Kalos trainer who initially began her journey in order to reunite with Ash, who she was childhood friends with, and later became dedicated to being a Kalos Performer before ultimately deciding to become a Pokémon coordinator, departing for the Hoenn region after her journey with Ash to do so. Later, in the Pokémon Journeys series, Serena would meet Chloe Cerise, while exploring the city of Lilycove, they found an outfit that was once worn by the Princess of Hoenn, making the obvious reference to May.
Towards the end of Pokemon Journeys, during the final battle of the Masters 8 between Ash and Leon, Serena and May are shown to have met each other at some point and were watching the battle together. However, when Ash's Pikachu was already tired from its battle against Leon's Charizard, Serena and May knitted their eyebrows and decided to hold hands in the hope that their mutual friend would recover. After the conclusion of the Masters 8 Tournament, it still remains unknown what the relationship between May and Serena exactly is.

When it was first created, CrimsonVelvetShipping was nothing more than a obscure crackship. This is because by the time Serena was introduced, May had been written out of the series for 5 years. It wasn't until their brief shared cameo towards the end of Pokemon Journeys 9 years later, showing that Serena and May had met at some point and have likely become friendly rivals, that the ship would gain a leg to stand on and receive a slight increase in popularity. However, despite this increase in popularity, CrimsonVelvetShipping is still relatively obscure and far less popular than Serena's and May's more notable ships, such as AmourShipping, AdvanceShipping, ContestShipping and to a lesser extent, FrenchRoseShipping.

DiodeShipping[]
DiodeShipping is the slash ship between Ash Ketchum and Clemont.
Canon[]
Clemont is one of Ash's traveling partners in the X&Y anime, alonside his sister Bonnie and Ash's childhood friend Serena. Clemont admires Ash's skills, and Ash is usually the most excited whenever Clemont shows off one of his inventions.
Fanon[]
Bonnie, Clemont's sister, often asks women to marry Clemont. Some fanworks depict Bonnie instead asking Ash to marry him instead.

Ethan and Lyra both act as the protagonist of Pokémon Heart Gold and Soul Silver. Depending on which one the player chooses, the other will appear in the game as a NPC that is a friend of the protagonist that lives in the same town.
When meeting the NPC's grandparents who run the daycare, they will assume that the protagonist is their boyfriend/girlfriend (dependant on which picked), seeming to lead the NPC to get embarrassed, stating that they're just someone who happens to live nearby.

PunkBladeShipping is the het ship between Victor and Marnie.

Victor is the default male player character in Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield, hailing from the small town of Postwick. While the character is named "Victor" by default, he can be given any name by the player. His appearance can also be customized. Marnie is one of the three rival characters alongside Hop and Bede for that same pair of games, being more stoic compared to the other two rivals, but also well-mannered in spite of her punk-goth style appearance. Like Victor and Hop, Marnie participates in the Gym Challenge in hopes to become the Champion of Galar and being able to support her hometown of Spikemuth.
Victor is first able to see Marnie when he and Hop register for the Gym Challenge at Motostoke Stadium, but the two properly meet each other at the lobby of the Budew Drop Inn after an encounter with some grunts from Team Yell, a group of hooligan fans that are devoted to Marnie. She scolds the grunts for causing a ruckus and apologizes to Victor and Hop on their behalf before introducing herself.
Marnie is also one of the two choices Victor gets by default when looking for a team partner in the Galarian Star Challenge, a bracket-style battle challenge available when completing the Crown Tundra DLC.

RibbonShipping is the femslash ship between Serena and Chloe.
Canon[]
They first met in JN105, Reuniting for the First Time!.
Serena approaches Chloe first, recognizing her from Lisia's TV broadcast, and that makes Chloe really embarrassed, but happy to have found the Sylveon she came to meet.
Chloe's Eevee hasn't decided what she wants to evolve into yet, and likewise, Chloe herself hasn't yet really chosen a path for herself, so she asks what got Serena into Contests.
They share some similarities, like having an Eevee and they both were struggling to find a path for themselves.
Fanon[]
Serena x Chloe was one of the very first Chloe ships, even before they met in the anime. Fans loved the similarities between the duo and their interactions in the episode later.
The last ship name was chosen through a poll on twitter, the other alternatives being HibiscusShipping (because of the hairpin that Serena gave Chloe resembles one), CherryMacaronShipping, and IndecisiveShipping. The first ship names were BloomAmourShipping (from their shipping with Ash, BloomBolt and Amour) and BoltBonsShipping (from Yamper which was believed to be Chloe's and Serena's sweets).
There is some friction between fans of this couple and Amourshipping and Vermilionshipping fan, who dislike it because it gets in the way of Ash x Serena and Goh x Chloe and preferred them to stay just friends.
Ribbonshipping is popular between m/m and f/f shippings fans, such as Journeyshipping, Moonlightblossomshipping and Chloe x Regina.
