Polysquad is the poly ship between Kohane Azusawa, An Shiraishi, Akito Shinonome and Touya Aoyagi from the Project SEKAI fandom.

Kohane, An, Akito and Touya are all part of street music group Vivid BAD SQUAD.
SEKAI Happy New Year![]
In Chapter 6, Touya, Akito, An and Kohane all walk into the cafe wishing each other a Happy New Year. After deciding to play Hanetsuki, An calls herself and Kohane an unbeatable team while Akito asks Touya if he's played Hanetsuki before. The four (along with Miku, Rin and Len) then head outside to begin the game. Akito and Touya just watch the four play while An tells Kohane they'll show Rin and Len who's boss. However, in the end, Len and Rin win, and Kohane and An both make fun of each other's faces while Touya says Kohane and An put up a good fight against those two. Touya makes it obvious he wants to play, even asking Akito if he can, causing Akito to give in and play the game with him. Akito claims Touya dragged him into the game, then saying they better win. At the end of the match, Akito and Touya lose while An comments on how they went in hard at the end for the game.
Awakening Beat[]
In the first chapter, after they win their latest music battle, An replies to Kohane glad at the four winning, while Touya and Akito both agree that there's still a lot they have to work on. An suggests heading over to her place so they can discuss and practice, which Kohane, Akito and Touya quickly agree to. Once they reach An's home, Kohane says a word about her habit and her solo song she'll be doing soon and An immediately asks if they can talk about that. An suggests that instead of Kohane doing solo songs, she does team events with the rest of them, which Akito and Touya both agree to, while Kohane is however worried by the thought. Touya and An both ask why, and Kohane quickly explains why, resulting in An encouraging Kohane after. Kohane thanks the three but also however asks if she can still sing the next week, which An agrees to, also asking if they can come watch her sing. Kohane gets nervous about the idea, however An once again encourages her as she says they'll all be cheering for her. Akito is annoyed at them all having to go, however the others agree to it so he does as well.
Touya, Akito and An make it to the show just before it starts. When it’s Kohane's turn, An shouts, telling An to go get them. Akito comments on how everyone has high expectations from her, and Touya replies saying it's not surprising with how good she's became. Touya calls her performance good and Akito says how it looks like she's giving it all she's got, while An calls Kohane the best. Once Kohane is finished singing, she goes to see the others (An, Akito and Touya).
In Chapter 3, After Kohane explains what happened back there, Akito tells her not to make a big deal out of it. An asks Kohane what she means by lacking commitment, which Kohane also explains. Akito says that it makes more sense that way, while An assumes he meant Kohane needs to be more confident in herself, which Touya agrees with. Akito says it's not bad to have confidence in herself, which Touya and An both agree with. Kohane thanks them all, however still expresses her sadness. An and Akito ask what the guy looked and seemed like, hoping to find him and ask for answers for Kohane. Later on, Akito and Touya both have work to attend to later, having to leave soon, while Kohane says she's going to stay and practice a bit more with An. Later after, Kohane gets tired due to the practicing, and An suggests the two take a break.

- In Touya's initial 2* card's second side story, he arrives to the livehouse, feeling unwell due to hearing a street musician playing the violin terribly. After Kohane and An go onstage to perform their part, Akito tells him to rest and listen to them singing, which helps Touya recover and get motivated just before his and Akito's part.

Fanon[]
Polysquad is most popular as a Double Date between AkiToya and Anhane, though the other ships within Polysquad are also recognized. However at the same time, it is regarded as problematic and homophobic in certain fandom circles due to said people strictly headcanoning An and Kohane as lesbians and Akito and Touya as gay. It has become quite a lot more popular since early 2023, with many people who used to hate the ships between Vivids and Bad Dogs having warmed up to them and even shipping them. However, discourse and even biphobia directed at bisexual headcanons does sometimes occur.
Many fans of Polysquad and even fans of Vivid Bad Squad in general are frustrated at the lack of content between the other duos besides Vivids and Bad Dogs, saying VBS feels divided as a team and just feels like two duos smashed into a unit, wanting more content and ship bait between the M/F pairings.

Ship Weeks[]
The first Vivid BAD SQUAD Ship Week was held on February 18-24, 2024, under the VBSShipWeek hashtag on Twitter. The first day was dedicated to Toukoha, the second day to Anhane, the third day to Akian, the fourth day to Touan, the fifth day to AkiToya, the sixth day to Akikoha, and the seventh and final day was free choice.
