Pop Rocks is the het shipping between Dustin and Joule from the Starlight Express fandom.

Though the two have never interacted together, Joule has been known to occasionally flirt with male characters in many performances. This went from the Bochum production between the years 2003 and 2018. At the beginning of the second race, Joule would often strike seductive poses in front of Dustin and poke his nose in a flirtatious way. Dustin didn't have any reaction to Joule's seduction.

In the year 2007, people started shipping Dustin and Joule together because of their pre-race 2 interaction. The search was somewhat featured on Yahoo and there were a few fanfics about the two. At that time, a Dustin actor knew somewhat of the ship but the Joule actress did not.
