Prustrepair is the poly ship between Pearl, Rusty and Wrench from the Starlight Express fandom.

Canon[]

Rusty, Pearl and Wrench do not interact all at once in most productions. With those interactions being very limited regardless. Though they do participate in several group numbers together. Namely "The Rap" and "Light at the End of the Tunnel".

Wembley Park[]

Rusty is trying to get Pearl to race with him, but their conversation is interrupted by the arrival of Wrench and the other components. Wrench circles Pearl and putting a magnetic barrier around her, before going to stand guard. Making sure that Rusty can't get through to interrupt them. Pearl is undecided who she should race with and Wrench leaves with the others while Pearl makes up her heart. Later, Rusty says that he will take Momma's place in the race and challenges both Electra and Greaseball. Wrench laughs at this, which Pearl doesn't like, but Wrench and the other components force Pearl in their line as they circle Rusty and taunt him. Wrench then leaves with Electra and the others while Pearl stays behind with Rusty.

Prustrepair is a rarepair in the StEx fandom. Mostly due to Wrench not interacting with Pearl or Rusty very often. As well as the two being the main couple of the show. Meaning that most fans do not want to add another to their dynamic. Its rival ships include Hyprusty and Electronents.

Shipping the three is often a result of shipping Rusty with both Pearl and Wrench. As while Pearl and Rusty is a very popular pairing in the fandom, Rusty and Wrench is also quite common. Some seeing it as a solution to keeping fics and other fan works canon compliant, while also shipping them. Some also ship Pearl with both Wrench and Rusty. Believing that Pearl bonded with her during her time with Electra, and would want to be with her as well.
