Psychic Sisters is the family ship between Fubuki and Tatsumaki from the One Punch Man fandom.
Canon[]
Tatsumaki is Fubuki's older sister, though due to their noticeable height difference, people sometimes tend to mistake Fubuki as the older sister. Both sisters work for the Hero Association as B-Class (Fubuki) and S-Class (Tatsumaki) heroes.
It’s unclear if Tatsumaki raised her sister by herself after Blast rescued her when she was still very young, or if she stuck around when Fubuki was living under their parents’ roof. Both sisters have a complicated history due to Tatsumaki's over-protectiveness and trust issues with other people, which usually resulted in Fubuki being isolated from other children when she was still a child. This would eventually lead to Fubuki growing up to start a Society for Supernatural Research in high school, the idea of which was to help her become more powerful and reach her sister's level with numbers rather than pure power. Tatsumaki was the reason Fubuki’s psychic power awakened when she was scared of her and the older sister feels some kind of responsibility for it.
According to Psykos, Fubuki considered her sister Tatsumaki as her nemesis during high school. Fubuki would also be selfish and distant enough from other people, though she preferred to be the leader. While working as a first rank B-Class hero for Hero Association, Fubuki has created a group of heroes known as the "Blizzard Group" that would dominate all B-Class and below. She hopes to become stronger this way.
Despite their complicated relationship and history, Fubuki clearly loves her sister a lot, and Tatsumaki cares about Fubuki a lot in return. They will go as far as to make sure the other isn’t in any danger or trouble, from allies or foes alike. Fubuki is also Tatsumaki's so-called "Berserk Button" since she can explode in anger if she sees her hurt or if someone threatens to hurt her little sister.
Manga[]
A New Wind Blows[]
The Psychic Sisters are first seen in a special manga story in Volume 3. A monster known as the Demonic Fan attacks the Blizzard Group in an abandoned building. They are in serious trouble because the Demon-level monster is far too powerful for them. Fubuki eventually arrives to deal with it and shows impressive resistance to the monster's powerful wind attack. However, when Fubuki tells her group to leave because she will deal with the enemy, they are all eventually defeated by the monster. Glasses, a new member of the Blizzard Group at the time, sees the defeat of the whole group and is really scared. Suddenly, Tatsumaki bursts through the wall. She enters and sees her sister unconscious on the floor. She then yells at Glasses and then easily defeats the monster. In the end, Tatsumaki lifts Fubuki with her psychic powers and leaves with her.
The Blizzard Group Arc[]
Chapter 45[]
After Fubuki fought Saitama and witnessed his strength, she explains to him and Genos her reasons behind her own actions of attacking Saitama and leading this Blizzard Group. She tells how her having the intellect, strength, power of comprehension and psychic power should help her be the one standing at the top. However, she can’t be at the top because of her older sister, Tatsumaki, who is far stronger than she ever will be. Fubuki thought that if she could rule the B-Class and below, she could eventually surpass her sister with numbers rather than trying to do it alone.
Numbers[]
In volume 10 extra story, Blizzard Group loses to Saitama Group in a video game, thanks to King. Fubuki is in a shock and questions if even King can win her and her 30 subordinates like that, then is her connections enough at all. When she is worried about losing her hard-earned B-Class rank 1 position to Saitama, he tells her to stop thinking about rankings and numbers. Fubuki on the other hand is anxious and tells him how guys like him will never understand her situation. How the only thing that matters is how strong you are and that you are number one so no one can see your weaknesses. Fubuki then thinks about her sister and how she is exactly like that, keeping her distance at the top and hiding her weaknesses.
Saitama tells her to stop caring about what her surroundings are telling her and this leads to Fubuki remembering what Tatsumaki said to her about how living your life has nothing to do with what others think. This results in her getting really angry. While she pushes out her psychic energy, killing the little spider parasites at the same time which were running around them, and tells Saitama she knows already what he is talking about. She tells him it doesn’t matter if him or her sister are stronger than her, she will handle things in her own way. Fubuki eventually gets over her group’s loss towards King.
Monster Raid Arc[]
Chapter 65 “Sisters”[]
Fubuki is fighting against “Monster Princess” Do-S, who has the ability to brainwash people with her whip to turn them into her “love slaves”. Unfortunately, the Blizzard Group becomes victims of this brainwashing, alongside with couple other pro heroes, and Fubuki is having hard time dealing with them and with Do-S whip attacks. Soon Do-S manages to get a hit on Fubuki’s back and she stops moving. Do-S assumes she is now under her influence and recognizes Fubuki as one of the Psychic Sisters. She incorrectly assumes that Tatsumaki is the little sister in their dynamic, and starts planning to use Fubuki as a bait to lure her sister out.
The “Monster Princess” becomes rather happy about her plan and tells Fubuki she is lucky to have a S-Class sister, but her happiness is cut short when suddenly Fubuki bursts out an enormous amount of psychic energy which startles Do-S and she gets pushed away. However, she uses her whip to stop herself from going far and wonders what made Fubuki so mad. At the same time, she realizes Fubuki is one of the people who have a strong ego which the monster hates most.
After Fubuki lashes out on Do-S couple times, the monster is very angry and wants to kill her, however, soon an enormous earthquake starts and she becomes confused by what is happening. Fubuki tells her big sister is coming as Tatsumaki sensed that she took damage. When Tatsumaki arrives, she demands that Fubuki go home while she deals with everything. Do-S in panic sends the Blizzard Group to attack Tatsumaki and escapes.
Meanwhile, Fubuki tries to stop her sister from hurting them since they are allies and are just being controlled. Tatsumaki seems to hear her and throws the Blizzard Group to a nearby building wall, where they stay stuck. Fubuki points out she told her not to attack them, but Tatsumaki answers that there wasn’t any other way to immobilize them. Tatsumaki then tells Fubuki to stop calling them allies as they will only be in her way. She also calls them Fubuki’s “B-Class fan club”, which Fubuki doesn’t take well.
Eventually, Tatsumaki notices that Do-S has escaped and tells Fubuki she could have handled this all by herself so this wouldn’t have happened. She then starts to leave and tells Fubuki to tell her people to evacuate during these kinds of situations. Fubuki wordlessly watches her sister fly away.
Monster Association Arc[]
Chapter 95[]
Tatsumaki takes part in the S-Class meeting about infiltrating the Monster Association. Fubuki then is seen walking towards Saitama’s apartment. She was earlier summoned by the Hero Association to take part in the fight against the Monster Association, but it was suddenly cancelled for no reason. The only reason she can think about for it is that her sister rejected her participation. Annoyed, Fubuki thinks that Tatsumaki doesn’t seem to want to acknowledge her at all and the younger sister thinks how this beef with the Monster Association is actually personal to her since Do-S managed to embarrass her in front of her sister. Then she decides to take her revenge with her “New Blizzard Group” (meaning Saitama Group).
Chapter 96[]
Tatsumaki confronts a powerful psychic monster, Evil Eye. She asks Evil Eye if that previous power display was all he could do and tells him to give up. Evil Eye laughs and asks wasn’t her sister a psychic also. He then threatens to gouge her and her sister’s eyes out and insert them in himself with the monster eyes to amplify his powers. Tatsumaki turns serious and then tells him she will teach him a lesson; the consequences for confronting them. Eventually, she easily kills him.
Chapter 117 (Online)[]
For a moment Gearsper uses an enormous amount of psychic energy to move the nearby ruined buildings and shape them into giant spike spears to point at Nyan. He then creates a massive tornado with them and for a second Fubuki feels it underground and thinks it’s her sister, but then recognizes it as different kind.
Chapter 125 (Online)[]
Fubuki, Bang and Bomb deal with a massive monster dog, Overgrown Rover. Its durability is monstrous as is its power. Fubuki has to use a lot of her power to protect Bang and Bomb, who then manage to momentarily defeat Rover. Meanwhile, Tatsumaki felt her sister’s power and is surprised that her sister is in the Monster Association headquarters. She then thinks she has to have a talk with Sekingar after the mission about her sister’s involvement as she especially didn’t want to get her involved.
Chapter 134 (Online)[]
After Tatsumaki pulled out rest of the rescue team from the Monster Association base, she can finally concentrate her power to deal with “Psykorochi” (Psykos and Orochi’s fusion). Since “Psykorochi” earlier threatened to deal with Fubuki after the monster has done with Tatsumaki, now the older of the Psychic Sisters is extremely furious. Nearby Fubuki feels Tatsumaki’s concentration power increasing and knows she plans to end this fight.
However, as Tatsumaki tries to finish off "Psykorochi", something seems to interfere with her powers as she suddenly starts bleeding. Fubuki notices this and is surprised, as is Tatsumaki. Tatsumaki wonders if she might have used too much of her powers at once, but "Psykorochi" manages to escape from her and thinks they can get away from her, but Tatsumaki creates a massive psychic dome barrier that traps "Psykorochi" inside it along with the rest of the heroes so the monster can no longer escape.
Chapter 137 (Online)[]
After Bang, Bomb and Fubuki surprise the rest of the S-Class by arriving to where they were, Fubuki begs them all to help her sister as she is certain she is losing consciousness. Fubuki promises to help them with anything they decide to do. Meanwhile, an unconscious Tatsumaki is already seeing a memory of the time when Blast saved her in the psychic research settlement where a rampaging monster was about to kill her. When Tatsumaki tells Blast there is no one who needs her since her parents sold her off, Blast reminds her that there seems to be someone who needs her; her little sister (Fubuki). He also gave Tatsumaki an advice, saying “when the time comes, don’t expect someone to come save you”. This advice she has taken to the heart. The memory ends.
Suddenly, once she wakes up, Tatsumaki hears Fubuki’s telepathic communication, telling her that they are coming to save her. The older sister tells her to not underestimate her and stands back up and returns to keep the huge barrier up.
Chapter 138 (Online)[]
With teamwork the heroes managed to bring the end to “Psykorochi”, however when Fubuki thinks they did it, Tatsumaki telepathically tells her it’s not over yet. She suddenly uses an enormous amount of energy and rips the former Monster Association base out of the ground, turning it into a giant light spear that she uses to then kill Orochi’s heart element by drilling it back to the giant hole.
Chapter 141 (Online)[]
After Tatsumaki finished Orochi off, she is exhausted. Fubuki is glad to see her sister alive. Tanktop Master comments how after the alien spaceship incident in A-City he has started to train to compete against psychic powers, but once again couldn’t come close to Tatsumaki. Fubuki replies that it’s to be expected when you’re against her big sister. Though, instead feeling defeated, Tanktop Master seems to be fired up to train harder than ever as he considers Tatsumaki to be his rival. Fubuki witnesses this and is a bit speechless about his attitude.
Soon Atomic Samurai points out that Flashy Flash was down in the Monster Association base as well and they start to wonder if he was in the light spear as well, but Tatsumaki tells Fubuki telepathically that Flash wasn’t in there as she felt a warp in the space, so he must have moved through another dimension. She then starts wondering if it was because of Blast.
Chapter 142 & 143 (Online)[]
Genos was about to overheat and explode, but Fubuki managed to stabilize his core. However, it cost her a lot of stamina and she started to bleed and lost consciousness. Bang and Bomb catch her before she falls to the ground. The Monster Association cadres have made their move and have started attacking the remaining S-Class heroes.
Exhausted Tatsumaki arrives to check on her sister and Fubuki regains her consciousness and sees the state her big sister is in. It shocks her to see her injured so badly. Tatsumaki in turn notices that Fubuki is injured as well and suddenly explodes in anger. She demands to know who did it to her and that she will have words with Sekingar and Child Emperor later, but Fubuki then tries to calm her sister down by telling how the injuries are her own doing and she came there on her own will. Tatsumaki then suddenly drops her anger and tells Fubuki to leave. She turns to leave as well since there is more monsters that has to be dealt with and Fubuki will only get in her way if she stays. This surprises Fubuki as she is extremely worried about her and tells her that she will really die if she continues fighting like that. Tatsumaki doesn’t take it well and throws Fubuki back at Bang and Bomb who are surprised by her attitude towards her sister. Tatsumaki tells Fubuki again to not underestimate her, and that Fubuki wouldn’t be able to ever help her.
The younger of the Psychic Sisters then suddenly uses her powers to lock Tatsumaki in place and tells her that she will really die if she goes despite Tatsumaki trying to hide that she is at her limit. Fubuki then confirms if the reason for why Tatsumaki stopped trusting in other people was to protect her, especially from the adults that would have wanted to use her powers, just like what Tatsumaki had to experience. She then tells her older sister that during her childhood, when Tatsumaki would use her powers to isolate Fubuki from the other kids, scared Fubuki a lot and eventually resulted in her creating her own faction to move past it. However, after meeting Saitama Fubuki has started to think about what true strength is and it has helped her to start understand her older sister little by little. Fubuki tells Tatsumaki that she will gather strong allies who even Tatsumaki can trust in, and then someday Fubuki will come for her as she doesn’t want to leave her sister by herself. She promises to save her in a way Tatsumaki can’t do for herself, because she is a hero.
After Fubuki’s talk, Tatsumaki looks at her sister wordlessly and little sad, but easily breaks out of her restrains and ends up restraining Fubuki, Bang and Bomb instead with her powers so they can’t go after her. She smiles while telling her little sister that she has gotten stronger. However, she drops her smile when she continues by saying how she still can’t trust that anyone will come and save her, and if Fubuki is turning out to be a great hero then it’s even more important for her to be a good example. Tatsumaki leaves. Fubuki stays behind, restrained, and cries after her. She thinks about how Blast may have saved her sister’s life once, but he still left a curse in her heart.
Genos suddenly decides to go back up Tatsumaki in the battle and promises Fubuki that he will be her sister’s shield if it comes to that, and Bang decides to go help also. Fubuki is moved by this.
Chapter 146 (Online)[]
Fubuki wants to go after her sister and says that she will go even if she has to crawl, but Bomb stops her and tries to calm her down. He tells her she is at her limit already, but Fubuki shouts at him about Tatsumaki being the one at her limit. Bomb is speechless for a second, but then smiles as he comments how similar she and her sister are. Fubuki is confused by what he means as she thinks they aren’t similar in any way. Bomb points out that obviously she wouldn’t notice it as sometimes there are times when you don’t see eye to eye with each other, but even that is a sign they are alike. Fubuki is even more confused and asks him what he means since she has worked really hard, because she isn’t anything like her sister. Bomb points at his own chest and tells her that they are similar there. Fubuki, looking at her own big chest, comments how she and her sister are nothing alike there, but Bomb tells her that isn’t what he meant.
Chapter 160 (Online)[]
Fubuki arrives with Spring Mustachio, who is carrying his master Nichirin, and Tanktop Master, who is carrying Bomb, Bang, Darkshine and Zombieman. They are really happy to see King carrying an unconscious Tatsumaki, and assuming that he rescued her. Fubuki, who is healing Nichirin, suddenly moves to give some of her energy to Tatsumaki as well, despite Spring Mustachio’s worry about her own well-being since she has to be exhausted. However, soon a massive aircraft carrier comes towards them riding on the waves of the ocean. They eventually survive it, thanks to Saitama for stopping the carrier, Garou for killing Sage Centipede so part of its carcass protected them from the ocean, and Pig God for saving them from drowning once the ocean decided to come around the obstacles for them.
Chapter 164-166 (Online)[]
Fubuki keeps healing Tatsumaki, despite Garou eventually appearing as a full cosmic monster who had been influenced by “God”. When Garou emanates dangerous amounts of radiation, which makes every single hero to fall unconscious, Fubuki herself has fallen unconscious on her sister as well while now unconscious King has tried to protect them from the black radioactive rain.
Psychic Sisters Arc[]
Chapter 176 (Online)[]
Fubuki, the Blizzard Group and Saitama have arrived to the Hero Association HQ’s special internment facility where the esper specifically wants to meet with an inmate, Psykos. They confront a mysterious “Tsukuyomi” guy, an agent of said organization, and also the three Hero Association members who were already with unconscious Psykos in her cell floor. Fubuki suddenly warns them all about her sister, Tatsumaki, since the Hero Association has added Psykos to the official incarceration list this morning and any pro hero can see it. Apparently, Tatsumaki wants to finish Psykos off for good.
Suddenly, the whole building starts to shake due to Tatsumaki using her powers, and soon she appears through the ceiling. She tries to kill Psykos with flick of her fingers, but Fubuki, along with mysterious Tsukuyomi agent, manage to protect her. Tatsumaki ends up smashing the agent to the wall.
Fubuki shouts at the Hero Association staff members to leave while she and her Blizzard Group deal with her sister. Tatsumaki asks what she is trying to do and then “questions” if her sister has also been brainwashed.
However, it’s soon revealed that this whole thing is just an act planned by Tatsumaki. Fubuki is simply helping her sister out as they try to keep Psykos out of Tsukuyomi organization’s fingers. This particular organization happens to be the one who Tatsumaki’s parents sold her to and who used her as their guinea pig, and she doesn’t want them to get their hands onto Psykos or anyone else. Fubuki was a little surprised to hear that her sister is interested on protecting Psykos, but Tatsumaki simply told her she has her reasons.
The Tsukuyomi agent soon regains his bearings and knocks the escaping Hero Association staff member unconscious. At the same time, he breaks the surveillance cameras in the room with his own psychic power. He remarks how convenient this is as both sisters are in the room. He brings up how both sisters will make a great additional souvenir for the organization. Tatsumaki answers with her own smile, impressed by the new artificial psychic’s powers, though, still not strong enough to match hers. Fubuki, on the other hand, thinks the agent is strong.
Tatsumaki and the Tsukuyomi agent start clashing their psychic powers and, in the process, create a massive chasm on the floor, dropping Saitama in it and then closing it up. Fubuki watched in horror when Saitama fell.
Chapter 177 (Online)[]
The agent and Tatsumaki keep on pushing their powers, but the guy notices that Tatsumaki’s telekinetic output is far greater than he can manage. Tatsumaki, on the other hand, belittles the agent since she doesn’t have any problems dealing with his psychic power. This doesn’t sit well with the guy and he pulls out his ace. He uses his powers to break open a sleep medicine capsule inside Fubuki’s body which affects her instantly and she drops down. The agent threatens next to open up a capsule with deadly poison inside it. He tells how easy it was to slip the capsules into Fubuki’s daily beauty supplements. Fubuki, weak but still aware of her surroundings, is confused when did they do it. Tatsumaki tells her that it must mean that Tsukuyomi has a spy either at the manufacturer, the distributor or in the Blizzard Group.
The agent manages to blackmail Tatsumaki to drop down her shield, and then “packs her up” with his powers, bending her limbs unnaturally so he can easily move her around. Fubuki in panic calls for her sister. Next, the agent breaks the gate controls to the level “demon” monster containment floor, which starts to open up the gate to the said floor. The monsters are ready to be freed. The idea is to take the Psychic Sisters and Psykos away, then let the monsters kill the Blizzard Group and the Hero Association staff who are left. And the fault for the monsters’ freedom would be put on Tatsumaki’s rampage and on mechanical issues resulting from it that opened the gate. Then no one would be questioning the Psychic Sisters’ sudden “death”, at least not anytime soon.
With his powers the Tsukuyomi agent then lifts Tatsumaki, Fubuki and Psykos and takes them with him. At the same time, the spy reveals himself by using his own psychic powers as he joins the Tsukuyomi agent. The Blizzard Group are surprised that the spy is the new guy that recently joined them and then few of them try to stop them from getting away. However, when Mountain Ape throws concrete at them, the agent uses his powers to hit the concrete at all the attacking group members and rendering them unconscious. Fubuki gets mad at him for hurting her subordinates and tries to attack him, but she is punished for it with pain when the guy uses his powers at her.
The rest of the Blizzard Group are panicking since the monsters are soon freed from their containment floor and the exit door won’t open either. However, suddenly all the monster are killed by Saitama who jumps through the flying, gory monster remains. The Tsukuyomi spy and agent are completely surprised by this, as well as the rest of them in the floor. At the same time, Tatsumaki finally found the poison capsule inside her sister’s body and frees herself from the agent’s hold, causing him to immediately try to break the capsule inside Fubuki, to no avail. He is confused why it doesn’t work and Tatsumaki tells Fubuki that it will hurt, but she should consider it as a punishment for ignoring her warnings. She then crushes the capsule and turns it into a very thin needle which then goes right through Fubuki’s body, causing her pain, and then going through the Tsukuyomi agent’s eye, causing him to get poisoned.
Tatsumaki notices that the agent seems to be somewhat resistant to the poison since he is still alive, so she ends up shutting the guy inside a giant concrete ball, so she can later wring out every piece of information he knows about Tsukuyomi. The spy suddenly tries to run away in panic, but Tatsumaki simply slams him into a nearby wall. Now done with the villains, Tatsumaki drops down from the air and places Fubuki and unconscious Psykos on the ground next to her.
The Blizzard Group realize they are saved and run towards Fubuki, demanding answers since they almost got killed. Tatsumaki orders them to shut up and they immediately follow. She then tells them this has nothing to do with them and then reprimands Fubuki for not heeding her warnings about her involving herself with a bunch of riffraff that will only let the enemy eventually take advantage of her. She then demands that Fubuki cuts off her ties with her friends. Because they were lucky the enemy showed their hands this time around so it could be dealt with, but it wouldn’t do good if Fubuki let them use her weak point again like this. The Blizzard Group protests, but Tatsumaki then shuts them up and tries to cut the ties for them since they won’t do it themselves. She then tells them she will “kill them enough” so that they won’t die, but can’t work as a hero anymore. Fubuki starts to protest, but suddenly Saitama takes a hold of Tatsumaki’s arm and stops her.
Saitama comments how similar the two sisters really are, then tells Tatsumaki that she is going too far just to lecture her sister, and that heroes shouldn’t beat each other up.
Chapter 178 (Online)[]
Tatsumaki wants Saitama to let go of her arm, but he doesn’t want to do it until she calms down. Fubuki ends up telling Saitama to not provoke her sister, but Tatsumaki then tries to force Saitama off her with her power, but he seems to be unaffected by her psychic attacks. The Psychic Sisters are both surprised by Saitama’s resistance against Tatsumaki’s power. When Saitama tells Fubuki to take everyone and evacuate while he takes care of Tatsumaki, the older of the Psychic Sisters then gets interested about what Saitama’s relationship is with Fubuki. However, Saitama simply shots down the thought that they could be close with each other by telling her that he is Fubuki’s mere acquaintance. Tatsumaki doesn’t believe it, but decides to test him out and see if he is worth “hanging all over Fubuki” like that. Saitama doesn’t like the implication. Soon Saitama is forced to take Tatsumaki outside the Hero Association since she started pushing her psychic powers far too hard that it is a danger to the buildings around them, because of the enormous tremors it causes. Fubuki is left in awe as she watches them go through the ceiling and she knows their fight has started.
Chapter 180 (Online)[]
While Tatsumaki throws Saitama around at outside, Fubuki is still in the Hero Association HQ’s special internment facility. As the heroes and staff are investigating the destruction Tatsumaki had left behind, Fubuki is thinking about how her sister threatened to cut the ties to her group by force. She knows Tatsumaki also meant it and won’t back down. Lily and rest of the group members then ask Fubuki’s forgiveness since they weren’t strong enough to make any difference. They then ask about the Tsukuyomi organization and what exactly is it. However, instead of telling them Fubuki makes a hard decision to disband their group (like her sister wanted). She then leaves her shocked ex-members behind when she flies away to go after Tatsumaki.
Chapter 181 (Online)[]
Fubuki witnesses her sister’s destructive power as she has created a massive tornado and throws rocks and land around at Saitama. Fubuki tries to call out to Tatsumaki, yelling how she is going a bit too far with her power display. Soon Tatsumaki, who is holding onto Saitama, fly past her. They don’t seem to notice her.
Chapter 182 (Online)[]
Tatsumaki loses her consciousness after using too much of her energy to fight Saitama. She starts seeing a memory of the time Blast saved her from Tsukuyomi when she still was a child. She remembers his advice how she should never expect someone to come save her when the time comes. She also remembers how Blast told her to protect her family. Once Blast leaves, Tatsumaki decides to go back to her parents’ house to get Fubuki.
Little Fubuki had been playing with her toys until Tatsumaki appeared outside her window and told her to come with her, and promised to protect her. However, few of the Tsukuyomi agents followed her and Tatsumaki (presumably) brutally kills them off, splattered in blood. Once done with the agents, she again offers her hand to Fubuki and tells her to come as she will protect her.
Unfortunately, Fubuki was really scared of seeing the brutality that she yells at Tatsumaki to stay away from her while she uses her psychic power to shield herself from her. At this moment, Tatsumaki realized that her little sister’s powers awakened and she feels responsible for it. She also feels she has the responsibility to protect her while not relying on anyone else.
After Tatsumaki wakes up from her dream and she and Saitama have a conversation until Saitama decides to leave, Fubuki suddenly appears in front of them and tells Tatsumaki that she left her group and that Tatsumaki was right about her perception being too naïve. Fubuki says she will also fight alone from now on like her. Tatsumaki is impressed by her little sister’s attitude, but points out that her Blizzard Group did follow her anyway and don’t seem to understand her decision. This surprises Fubuki when she sees her group members approaching. They do stop in fear when Tatsumaki glares at them, but then they ask her to let them serve Fubuki and they promise to become stronger. Tatsumaki doesn’t want to hear it and tries to again force them to retire, but suddenly Fubuki takes her place and attacks her group who are surprised by this. Fubuki yells at them by saying that if they can’t take her on, what chance they have with her sister.
Meanwhile, Saitama tells Tatsumaki to let the group try since even he wasn’t able to defeat a wolf level being before starting his muscle training, and that while they may be weak now no one can tell where their limit is. Tatsumaki seems to hear this and suddenly stops Fubuki from attacking her group any longer. She tells them she will let them be for now, but if something ever happens to Fubuki, she will never forgive them. The Blizzard Group understands this. Saitama eventually leaves and even Fubuki is surprised to learn that Tatsumaki listened to Saitama.
Chapter 183 (Online)[]
Fubuki has returned to the special internment facility at the Hero Association headquarters with her Blizzard Group. One of the group members had discovered secret information about what the Hero Association is doing behind the scenes, such as secretly selling monsters to another organization for a huge amount of money, and Fubuki decides to use this information to make a deal with one of the Hero Association executives, McCoy, to get her sister out of the trouble she has caused by fighting against Saitama. Fubuki comes up with a plan to scatter all the monster remains from the facility to the surface and make up a story for the people about how Tatsumaki was instead fighting these demon level monsters and that's why she was rampaging around and the Hero Association facility was damaged. Since it would be bad for all of them if Tatsumaki's true reason for her rampage were revealed, and because it would also be bad if people found out about the Hero Association's secret business deals, McCoy ends up liking Fubuki's proposed plan.
However, the sisters also had another plan. Tatsumaki scatters the monster remains on the surface and in the process smuggles Psykos out of the Hero Association with one of the monster's bodies. Fubuki waits by her car and reels in Psykos with her powers when the monster's remains are outside. She then holds Psykos in her car as the Blizzard Group continues to drive away from the Hero Association. Tatsumaki ends up convincing the Hero Association executives that she will be the one "hunting" Psykos since they noticed her missing. Together, the sisters managed to get Psykos to safety.
Chapter 184 (Online)[]
Tatsumaki accepted a deal to be in a hero recruitment commercial for Hero Association. However, due to her personality they had to use an AI and the footage they took of her to create her as a cute hero for the commercial. At home, once Tatsumaki saw it on TV, she got angry and called them to give them a piece of her mind and to hear their explanation. At the same time, Fubuki came inside to the apartment and greeted her sister, also telling her how cute the new commercial was, but Tatsumaki just ends up blowing up the apartment.

The Sisters Who Have Too Many Things Happening[]
Fubuki and her Blizzard Group defeated a dangerous monster, but it seemed like it wasn't a newsworthy story as the news of the Deep Sea King's defeat was in the papers instead. This upsets Fubuki greatly, and she walks away from her Blizzard Group to clear her mind. Lily, one of the members of the Blizzard Group, says that she understands her because even Tatsumaki got a column in the newspaper even though she didn't do anything.
Next, Fubuki is on a train heading towards Z-City. She meets Genos on the train, and then Genos gets a call from the Hero Association saying that someone has planted a bomb on the train, which will explode when the train arrives at the Z-City train station. Fubuki and Genos decide together to save the people and stop the train. However, when the bomb was found and the people were saved, thanks to Fubuki using her powers to lift them off the train, Genos was unable to stop the train at all. Suddenly, Tatsumaki throws Genos off the front of the train and takes Fubuki out of the train and lifts the train into the sky away from the people and crushes it. The bomb explodes and takes the crushed train with it.
Fubuki is again frustrated that her sister could easily pick up the train and handle it. Tatsumaki asks why she didn't get off the train, but Fubuki refuses to explain. Tatsumaki then leaves and Fubuki is upset again. However, after talking with her potential new recruit, her mood lifts and in her thoughts she promises her sister that she won't give up either.
Fanon[]
Both Fubuki and Tatsumaki are among the most recognizable characters in the One Punch Man fandom, as they are one of the few female characters to have some sort of ongoing story in the series to focus on. The Psychic Sisters are a well-liked family ship in the fandom, as their story intrigues many. Unfortunately, some of their fans tend to pitch them against each other as well because of the "simp culture" in fandom where someone may favor one over the other. However, there are people who love both sisters and their relationship equally and continue to create fan content of them both.
Along with Genos and Saitama, and in some cases Garou, the sisters are highly marketable characters, selling multiple figures and other merch especially to a male-heavy fan base. Fubuki and Tatsumaki can also be found in OPM video games, commercials and such almost always.
Despite their popularity, their platonic AO3 tag only has over 20 fanfics. There are some people who love to ship the sisters also in romantic/sexual way, which is far less popular in the fandom in general for obvious reasons. AO3 has a tag for it as well, which contains several fics also. These fics are sometimes also tagged in wrong way as platonic ship.
