Puffries is the het ship between Fries and Puffball from the Battle for Dream Island fandom.
Canon[]
In BFDIA 1, Fries can be seen smiling at Puffball while she is singing her song. They are later both put onto Team No-Name.
In BFDIA 5a, Fries tells Puffball to turn around so she can save the contestants that Gelatin threw off of her. She listens to him.
In BFDIA 5c, the episode opens up with Fries sleeping on Puffball. He is awoken when Puffball flies under a cloud that is raining basketballs, causing him to get hit. He asks where the other teammates are and Puffball replies that Gelatin pushed them almost all of them off, but then he tied his and Firey's legs together and eventually fell off too. Puffball mentions that she heard demonic screams, meaning they were probably eaten by Evil Leafy. Fries asks if he's talking about "that Evil Leafy" and points down to Evil Leafy in the forest below them. Later, Fries notices Ruby and Book and tells Puffball to chase after Evil Leafy in order to get their teammates back, to which she agrees. They later end up both dying by being crushed under a 9402 km weight.
In BFDIA 5e, Fries says that the Davids are "most annoying creatures I have ever layed my eyes upon", annoying Puffball as Team No-Name flies over Davidland. They go together to recover Rocky after being commanded to by Golf Ball. Puffball ends up betraying and killing her team at the end of the episode because she wants to win another prize.
In BFDIA 14, Fries insults Puffball multiple times.
In BFB 1, Fries invites Puffball to join Yellow Face's team. She happily comes along. The team is eventually named Free Food.
In BFB 3, Fries tells Puffball to swing around 50 times to win the challenge instead of playing Toss the Dirt with Marker. She smiles when he enters the conversation.
In BFB 5, Fries pleads with Four not to kill Puffball, but instead disable her for the challenge. He obliges.
In BFB 12, Fries says "not now" to Puffball (who is actually Rocky in disguise) when she makes a vomiting noise.
In TPOT 1, Fries decides to join Are You Okay since Puffball is on it. During the challenge, Puffball catches Fries in the air, uses him to catch the rest of the team, and then places them down on the building where they are declared the first safe.
In TPOT 3, Puffball gets jealous and decides to design an extremely intense rollercoaster after seeing the praise TV received for designing the rollercoaster's chairs. After her team gets mad at her, Fries snatches the machine she was wearing off her head and says they should just upload the rollercoaster they have.
In TPOT 4, Fries goes along with Golf Ball's instructions of banning Puffball from participating in the challenge.
In TPOT 5, Fries defends Puffball from Golf Ball, who is trying to exclude Puffball from the challenge again, saying that it's the third time she's done this. He decides to leave with Puffball in order to sabotage teams with her. They first sabotage The S, and then move on to Just Not. Fries has Puffball attack the team and she bites Nickel, which leads to Pillow throwing Bomby at them. Fries tells Puffball to dodge, which she does. Fries gets Puffball to keep chasing and chomping at the team, and the two are eventually separated when Pillow knocks Fries off of Puffball by using Price Tag. They both end up being up for elimination.
In TPOT 6, Fries is in the bottom two with Tennis Ball. Puffball, anxious, says that Fries is her only friend. Fries is eventually eliminated, and shouts out to Puffball to activate the elimination prevention plan. He is quickly sucked up by Two before either of them can do anything, leaving Puffball on her own.
In TPOT 14, Eraser looks outside the eliminated contestant area. He sees Puffball banging her head into an invincible wall, possibly trying to escape. Fries is motivating her to do it again and again in hopes of succeeding.
Fanon[]
This ship gained popularity in the fandom due to the fact that the two are best friends. People enjoy the two's contrast in personality, with Puffball being cheery and enthusiastic and Fries being pessimistic and grumpy. This is the most popular ship involving the two, rivaled by ships such as Frieraser (Fries x Eraser) and Golfpuff (Golf Ball x Puffball).
