Queen Snow is the family ship between Snow White and the Evil Queen from the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs fandom.

Canon

Snow White and the Evil Queen met when Snow White’s mother died and her father, the king remarried. Though the Evil Queen always treated Snow White coldly, she was willing to tolerate her presence for a while. This all changed when the vain queen asked her Magic Mirror about the fairest one in the land one day, with the mirror giving her a different answer; the Queen is no longer the fairest, Snow White is. After the death of the king, the queen had complete control over Snow White. She tried to downplay her beauty by forcing her to do chores and dressing her in rags. But alas, the mirror did not change his mind and the Evil Queen only saw one solution to her problem; killing Snow White. She plans on doing so by telling the unsuspecting princess to pick flowers for her.

Not having the dignity to do the deed herself, she threatens the royal Huntsman into doing it for her. She tells him to only come back by giving her Snow White’s heart in a box, threatening what would happen to him should he fail. The Huntsman initially heeds the queen’s request, but when he saw how helpless and terrified Snow White was, he couldn’t bring himself to do it. He clears her up about her stepmother’s plan to kill her. Then he tells her that she’s no longer safe in the kingdom, telling her to run where the queen wouldn’t find her.

After some hardship, Snow White finds safety in a little cottage and rests there for the night. That cottage belongs to a group of seven dwarfs, who are open to letting her rest and hide there after Snow White tells them about the queen’s evil plan.

Meanwhile, the Evil Queen receives the box from the Huntsman, filled with a heart, like she requested. She considers the deed done and asks her mirror about the fairest again. But to her shock, Snow White is still the fairest, when the queen asks him about the heart, he tells her that she’s been tricked: The heart belonged to a pig. Furious, the queen storms off into her underground lair, box still in her hand and smashes it on the floor. She decides to take matters into her own hand, first by using a permanent spell to disguise herself as a sweet, old peddler woman. Then by spiking an apple with a poison that will render the person immobile, fully intending for the dwarfs to bury Snow White alive. But when she reads that the antidote to the poison is Love’s First Kiss, she dismisses it, believing that nobody loves Snow White.

Though the dwarfs warn Snow White to not let any stranger into their cottage, warning that it could be the Evil Queen in disguise, the peddler-queen is persistent enough to force Snow White to let her in. When she offers the poisoned apple, Snow White initially declines, but the queen lies that the apple can grant wishes. Snow White is taken aback, thinking that she could wish for her beloved prince to come find her, but before she could refuse it again, the queen forces her to eat the apple. Snow White drops on the floor, frozen as if she was dead. The Evil Queen laughs at her victory, but doesn’t expect the dwarfs to come for Snow White’s aid, chasing her up a mountain and letting her fall to her death.

The dwarfs loved Snow White so much that they couldn’t bring themselves to bury her, instead, they put her in a glass case to preserve her beauty. But luckily, her prince arrives to undo the Evil Queen’s poison, he and Snow White live happily ever after.

Queen Snow has some popularity within Hero/Villain ships. However, some people are disturbed at the idea of shipping them romantically, since Snow White is the youngest princess and the Evil Queen knew her since she was a child.

Trivia

• In the earliest versions of the original fairy tale, the Queen and Snow White were actually biologically mother and daughter. The most commonly accepted reason for the change is that the Brothers Grimm thought a woman trying to kill her daughter was too dark.
