R2-soka is the friendship between R2-D2 and Ahsoka Tano from the Star Wars fandom.

R2 COME HOME
Ahsoka is in a meeting with the jedi, when R2 bursts through the door and falls down the stairs. She gets him back up, and he immediately starts fighting with another astromech, and Ahsoka puts a stop to it. She asks R2 what's wrong, and Master Plo asks if she knows the droid. She explains that he's Anakin's and Master Plo tells R2 to deliver his message.
A Friend in Need[]
Ahsoka goes to rescue Lux and quickly calls R2 to fire up the engines to the ship. Once on the ship, R2 shows the comm to Ahsoka as he heads to the back of the ship. When he returns, Lux pretends that Ahsoka fell asleep and that they should let her sleep it off. Ahsoka later wakes up, which startles R2. She calls for Lux before realizing her lighsabers are missing. She tells R2 to look for them while she talks to Lux and heads outside. R2 is able to find them, and heads out to give them to her, only for Ahsoka and Lux to be with Deathwatch. She silently indicates to him to hide the sabers, which he quickly does before Deathwatch can see. They're then forced to go with, which Ahsoka is about to argue about, before seeing that they've already grabbed R2.
R2 is taken to a tent where he's forced to repair battle droids. The droids ask how they can repay him, when R2 sees that Deathwatch has found out that Ahsoka is a Jedi and taken her captive. He then asks them to help rescue her and he goes off to follow where Deathwatch took her. Once inside he lets out a bunch of smoke and sneaks Ahsoka her lighsabers. Ahsoka thanks him and is able to free herself. They start to make their escape on speeder, but one of the Deathwatch pins Ahsoka down. R2 is able to distract him, which allows Ahsoka to get rid of him. She says that she owes R2 again and continues to fight off their pursuers.
They get back to the ship and into space, where R2 is able to keep them off their trail. Ahsoka tells him good job, when he tells her that the escape pod has been activated. She realizes that it's Lux, and tells R2 to take the helm while she confronts him.

R2-soka is quite a loved friendship in the Star Wars fandom. Though it doesn't get as much attention as other friendships. As it doesn't always have the same chaotic nature or deeper connection. Though many love the sweetness of their relationship. Especially with how affectionate Ahsoka is to R2. On AO3, there are currently 20+ written works.
