RagaZoob is the non-binary ship between Ragatha and Zooble from The Amazing Digital Circus fandom.
Canon[]
Ragatha and Zooble are both victims to the retro-styled virtual game set in a circus. Ragatha is described as a supportive member who uplifts her peers to maintain smiles. This is a massive gap from Zooble's character, which is unenthusiastic and distant. As shown in timely events, their relationship isn't strained from their separate traits. Zooble and Ragatha are equally supportive of each other.
The two have formed a successful friendship built on mutual trust and liking towards each other.
Candy Carrier Chaos![]
Their relationship isn't explored until the second episode of the series, Candy Carrier Chaos!. As Ragatha attempts to support Pomni's mourning over Gummigoo, Zooble steps in reassuringly to remind the older woman of Kaufmo's funeral. The duo are seen attending the loss of a close friend and individually taking turns to announce their heartfelt speeches.
Fast Food Masquerade[]
Ragatha finally receives a chance to participate in an adventure alongside the introverted Zooble. The crew are designated to run a fast food restaurant, Spudsies. Ragatha and Zooble are assigned to the kitchen. As Ragatha prepares a burger for a customer, she accidentally spurts a potent substance named "Stupid Sauce" into her eye. The contents have an immediate effect and give her a drunken effect.
Zooble's station is becoming overloaded with naked burger patties, which Ragatha is supposed to assemble. Zooble confronts Ragatha for the latter's sloth behavior. Ragatha makes an attempt to defend herself by explaining she has assembled five to six burgers. Zooble snarkily quips back that they need at least 300. Frustrated, Ragatha rudely asks why Zooble is always a grouch (or a "grunch").
Knowing they aren't getting anywhere, Zooble asks the manager Gangle for some assistance with Ragatha, who they suspect "huffed paint". Gangle steps over to no avail; Ragatha unintentionally insults Gangle for being annoying with her happy mask. Depressed, Gangle asks Zooble to help the older woman with assembly instead. During closing hours Zooble offers to help with closing the restaurant to a glum Gangle. They get Ragatha, who's still under the effects of the sauce, to assist.
A montage plays; Ragatha is visibly struggling with staying on task at best, much to an annoyed Zooble. Once they finish Zooble carries Ragatha outside to return to the circus.
Fanon[]
RagaZoob is a rarepair within the fandom. This could be due to their low interactions and vague relationship. However, the fourth episode allows more depth to their connection. Leaving an open spot for fans to observe and absorb their friendship, shippers took place. Fan content often consists of "fluff", comfort, and supportive factors in their relationship. Some interpret Ragatha as Zooble's ultimate therapist when the time for their eternal damnation to the circus came.
In alternative cases Ragatha could be on the receiving end of the therapy instead. Observing their behavior concludes how desperate Ragatha is to provide a safe space for everyone around her. It forces her to swallow her true thoughts/opinions to preserve this. Zooble, in contrast, is very open with their emotions; they're able to clap back and make decisions of their own. With Zooble's indifference and Ragatha's people-pleaser tendencies, but both managing to be good people, makes an attractive factor in their relationship.
