Raiden Mei is a character from the Honkai fandom.
Character[]
Raiden Mei is a main and playable character in Honkai Impact 3rd. Her father is the CEO of ME Corp and taught her kendō. In 2014, Mei awakened as the Herrscher of Thunder, causing the 3rd Honkai Eruption which destroyed Nagazora. Kiana saved her and they enrolled as Valkyries in St. Freya. Following the Battle of Schicksal, Mei felt helpless in her ability to save Kiana from others and Kiana's own self-sacrificial nature. She fully integrated with the Herrscher of Thunder and joined World Serpent in an effort to save Kiana.
In Honkai: Star Rail, Raiden Bōsenmori Mei is a playable character from the now destroyed world Izumo, first introduced in Penacony, who goes by the name Acheron. An aloof and introverted Emanator of Nihility with a melancholic yet gentle nature who tries to rescue the souls from the depths of Nihility, seeking to sever the Paths.

- ↑ "雷電忘川守芽衣" ("Raiden Bōsenmori Mei"). "忘川" ("Bōsen") literally translates to "Forgotten River" or "River Of Forgetting", and is what the Lethe River is called in Japanese. "守" ("Mori") means to guard or protect, in this case a guardian or protector. Bōsenmori is highly likely to be a title as opposed to a middle name, conveying how she is the "Guardian" of the Nihility River.
