RainbowSnake is the het ship between Charlie Morningstar and Sir Pentious from the Hazbin Hotel fandom.

Sir Pentious interacts with Charlie when he tries to destroy her hotel early on in the Pilot and the main series. However, Charlie seems to hold no grudge against Pentious for this, as in fact, she tells Alastor to ease up on attacking Pentious’ ship.
Pentious hides behind Charlie
Pentious arrives at the hotel asking for a chance at redemption, Charlie immediately accepts, grabbing his hand and expressing her giddiness. Pentious is annoyed by Charlie grabbing his hand, but he ends up hiding behind her after Angel angrily refuses the idea of letting Pentious stay. Angel brings up how Pentious tried to kill them multiple times, but Charlie is adamant and excited about giving Pentious a second chance. After Vaggie accepts the offer, Charlie shows Pentious around the hotel and welcomes him to the family. Unbeknownst to the crew, Pentious is a spy sent by VoxTek, in which he plays along with Charlie’s skits and lessons. Charlie first teaches Pentious to apologize to others, having him say sorry to Alastor. Afterwards, Charlie starts a game in which they sing a tune and introduce themselves, having Pentious try it out, which he does, awkwardly.
Later on, Charlie makes Pentious, along with Angel, dramatically act out one of Charlie’s skits. Angel plays the drug dealer and Pentious plays an innocent child, and Charlie happily watches the performance. Pentious announces triumphantly that he will say no to drugs and not have sexual intercourse before marriage, which makes Charlie jump from her seat and clap madly, moved by the performance and telling him he’ll be redeemed in no time. Charlie tells Pentious he was amazing and that she’s proud of him.
Charlie reaches out to Pentious
Later when Angel catches Pentious in the act of hiding a camera, Charlie and Vaggie walk into the scene. Pentious nervously states he’d never betray the two, wrapping them in a hug claiming they’re his best friends as Charlie smiles. However, shortly after, Charlie is devastated to see Pentious revealed as a spy. After Pentious is rejected by Vox, he lays lays down on the floor, ready to accept death as his eyes tear up. While Vaggie and Angel are glad to kill Pentious, Charlie, overrun by compassion and sympathy, stops Vaggie. She reaches out to Pentious, smiling as she begins to sing the musical number “It Starts With Sorry” as Pentious cries.
Charlie dances with Pentious
Charlie grabs his hands and tells him it starts from a simple sorry, showing him the path of forgiveness. Pentious shows doubt as he refuses to believe anyone could forgive him as he says he doesn’t deserve Charlie’s amnesty. Charlie stops Vaggie and Angel from killing Pentious and sings more that it starts with sorry, as he tears up and apologizes. Charlie pulls Pentious around and dances with him, encouraging him that the journey will take a while but that it begins with a sorry, watching fireworks and smiling happily. This now changes Pentious’ heart for the better, evidenced by Niffty angrily kicking him, upset that he’s not a “bad boy” now. From then on, Pentious would become an official client of the hotel and start his proper path to redemption.
The two have a partial interaction in "Dad Beat Dad" when Lucifer and Charlie are singing together. The scene flashes to her hotel employees and residents, and Charlie tells her dad that she needs to save her people more than anything. Sir Pentious looks the most touched by this, as he is crying while clenching his hands on his chest, to the point where even the eye on his hat is crying.
Charlie, with hearts, watches Pentious try to confess to Cherri
Charlie and Pentious’ main interactions afterwards stem in the finale, where the crew trains to fight off the Extermination. Pentious is seen talking to Charlie in the background before he tries to confess to Cherri. Charlie claps her hands and smiles widely as Pentious looks away which indicates he shared about his love, since shortly after, Charlie is seen watching the confession with hearts flying around her. Charlie is dazed to the point Vaggie has to push Charlie out of the way.
Charlie cries after seeing Pentious’ death
Later in the battle, as all hope seems lost, Pentious makes the decision to sacrifice himself for the hotel and its inhabitants. Charlie is shocked and as Adam renders him dead, Charlie collapses to the ground and begins to sob. Angered, she manifests into her full demon form at the loss of Pentious. After the battle, Charlie stares sadly at the banner celebrating Pentious’ first week at the hotel. Disheartened, she sings how Pentious did it for them, losing hope and blaming herself for the outcome of the battle.
Not too long after Pentious’ death, he finds himself in Heaven, redeemed by the Hazbin Hotel thanks to Charlie. This shocks Sera and Emily who realize that Charlie’s hotel does indeed work.

RainbowSnake is more popular as friendship rather than het within the fandom. There are few romantic shippers as, although Charlie and Sir Pentious are both bisexual, they have their respective love interests—Charlie with Vaggie and Pentious with Cherri Bomb, and generally, fans enjoy RainbowSnake platonically for various reasons, one example being Charlie happily supporting Pentious’ love for Cherri. The song It Starts With Sorry where Charlie changes Pentious’ heart and shows him compassion made the dynamic popular, and Charlie crying as she was devastated over Pentious’ death showed fans that Charlie truly cares about Pentious.
