Many fans think that Rainbow is a lesbian due to her rainbow-colored mane & tail, as well as her tomboy traits, but it is yet to be confirmed. Others object this theory by saying how she was born with it and is seen having it when she was just a filly. Rainbow is also one of the most shipped characters in the franchise due to her relationships with many characters.
