Rajbow is the slash ship between Raj and Bowie from the Total Drama fandom.
Canon[]
Total Drama Island 2023[]
Opening Sequence[]
Raj and Bowie are sitting next to each other in the whistling part of the opening sequence of the reboot.
Meet the Victims[]
Both Raj and Bowie were placed on the Frogs of Death. In the boys' side of the team's cabin, Wayne and Raj talk about how their team has some hotties. Bowie then walks in and says that if they wanted to talk about him, he would leave and give them some privacy.
Pirates of the Cabbagean[]
Wayne realizes a game strategy, then discusses it with Raj in hockey terms. Bowie yells at them to speak English but agrees once they properly explain to him. Later on in the confessional, Wayne and Raj talk about how they want to become beekeepers if hockey doesn't work out, because they both love syrup. However, Bowie appears in the confessional afterwards and says that bees don't make syrup, and that it's all he went there to say.
Drown Town Abbey[]
The two have their first major interaction in this episode, starting when Bowie moves to Raj's table and complains about the breakfast being torture. Raj said he had experienced worse, bringing up that he had once swallowed 3 teeth, and two of them weren't even his. While explaining, food got on Bowie's shirt. Raj tried to wipe it off, but Bowie held his hand and said it was fine, resulting in Raj becoming flustered. Bowie then left when Raj and Wayne challenged each other on who could eat breakfast the quickest. During the challenge, Raj and Wayne were impressed by Bowie flying through the course, and Raj agreed with Wayne by saying "he looks great!" However, Raj figured out what he said and quickly corrected himself by saying he meant "he's doing great," while he tried to act like that's what he originally said. When Bowie finishes, he high-fives both of the Hockey Bros, and Raj compliments him by saying "nice hustle, Bowie!" Bowie then thanks him for the compliment.
Numbskull Island[]
In the next episode, Bowie, Raj, Wayne, and MK go to search for the skull. Wayne and Raj then start to describe a plan in hockey terminology, (again,) resulting in Bowie appearing in the confessional and saying they remind him of puppies: not the smartest but adorable. MK asked if Bowie understood anything the Hockey Bros was saying, and he said he couldn't, but it was cute. When Raj is about to be crushed by a boulder, Bowie pushes him away, laying on top of him once they land. In the confessional, Raj seemed confused about how he felt about that, showing that he was beginning to question his sexuality. They then are seen hiding behind a barrier but are later fart bombed by Ripper and they run away.
Jurassic Fart[]
The two briefly interact near the end of the episode. Bowie was watching the sunset when Raj sat down on a rock next to him. Raj told Bowie that he was glad Bowie was okay, and Bowie told him to "look again," saying he was much better than okay. Raj chuckled and agreed, and he blushed at him too.
The Launchback of Notre Game[]
Wayne and Raj get in the catapult together. Bowie goes up to them and tells them "don't you two look cozy?" Raj laughs and tells Bowie that he and Wayne are teammates. When Raj gets a cramp in the tapioca pudding, Wayne tells someone to save Raj, so Bowie gets in the catapult and tells Julia to put him in the pudding. When Raj notices Bowie is behind him, he stops flailing and turns to Bowie, as they smile at each other and talk for a minute. As Bowie is about to tell Raj they need to go, Raj suddenly kisses him on the lips, unaware Wayne and the tapioca shark are watching. In the confessional after, Bowie taps his chin and called it interesting, while Raj said that kissing Bowie felt right. Raj then pulls away from the kiss, and apologizes to Bowie, saying that he had been thinking about kissing him. Bowie then says that they could talk about it after they get away from the sharks, as he pulls Raj by his shirt to escape the pudding. Later, Bowie says that the day wasn't all bad, since he was kissed by "a very fine boy."
Severe Eggs and Pains[]
Raj admits in the confessional that the craziest thing that happened to him the day before was the kiss with Bowie. As Bowie was walking with Emma, Raj ran into them and Bowie started talking with him. Raj blushed at Bowie, while Bowie looked at him lovingly. Emma decided to give them a minute, sensing their attraction to each other. Raj then apologized to Bowie for kissing him without permission, saying sorry if he didn't like it. Bowie then put his finger on Raj's lips and assured him that he did enjoy the kiss, but he warned Raj that they would need to turn on each other at some point in the game. However, Bowie told him that they could go on a date once the competition was over, and they began to kiss once more, but they were interrupted by Emma shortly after since a cassowary was running at the three. In the confessional, Bowie explains that he knows sharing secrets on Total Drama is never a good idea, but that there's no fun in "making out with a super cute guy if you can't tell anyone."
Eventually, Wayne and Raj come back to the others with severe injuries. Bowie gasps at their appearance, and goes to Raj, asking what happened. Due to his injured state, Raj only responds with two words: "No eggs." When Chef is worried and wonders what happened to the two, Bowie informs them that "they were attacked by a cassowary and then fell down a mountain." Due to this, the Hockey Bros are sent to the hospital and, therefore disqualified from the competition due to injury.
The Wheel of Vomit[]
Despite having been eliminated in the previous episode, Raj is mentioned a few times by Bowie in this episode. Bowie begins to put his shoes on before feeling something wet inside, and he then says "Raj left me a present" in the confessional. The "present" is then revealed to be Raj's mouthguard, which came with a poem saying how he wanted Bowie to have it, and it has been in his mouth. Bowie describes it as "sad and adorable," before he begins to daydream about Raj. He snaps out of it and says that there'll be time for "hot Raj" later. He tells himself that he needs to focus and win the million dollars, as he puts Raj's mouthguard in his mouth impulsively. When he realizes what he just did, he quickly spat out the mouthguard and called it super gross. Emma asks him why he has so much gum in his mouth, so Bowie responds saying he was trying to get rid of the taste of Raj's mouthguard, only for Julia to get it in his hair shortly after. Later, Bowie says that the taste of the mouthguard was not that gross after he saw Chase and Emma vomit on each other.
The Truth, the Pole Truth, and Nothing But The Truth.[]
Bowie mentions Raj one time two episodes later. Bowie thanks MK for organizing everyone's confessionals before he shows the camera a confessional from Raj. In the video, Raj says that Bowie makes him feel like "there might be more to life than hockey." Bowie calls that sweet, and says that for Raj to say that, it's pretty deep.
Magna Cum Laude[]
In the season finale, Raj waves and says hi to Bowie once they see each other, and Bowie smiles back. When Chris explains the finalists will need a partner, Bowie attempts to choose Raj, but Chris explains that their partners are randomly chosen, so Bowie ends up with Julia instead. When Millie and Priya go backwards, Bowie has a chance to take the lead, so Raj cheers for him. When Priya and Bowie fight over the lava, Raj is too scared to watch. In the ending where Priya wins, Raj is one of the three people who are upset of Bowie losing. They then gasp when everyone is told that they qualify for the next season.
Total Drama Island 2024[]
The Pink Painter Strikes Again[]
Raj and Bowie returned for season 2, still as a couple. When everyone stares at Bowie angrily due to his actions the previous season, Raj tells him that Bowie should've known people would be mad at him, and Raj encouraged him to apologize. When Bowie did apologize to the campers afterward, it was incredibly backhanded and did not stop anyone from being angry with him. In the confessional, Bowie said it made him feel better, but Raj was dumbstruck at his "apology." When the time comes to pick the teams, Bowie selects Raj first for his team, and Raj says: "knew it!" He then ran over and hugged Bowie. After he selected his boyfriend, Bowie began thinking strategically for someone with "the perfect balance of brains, brawn, cunning..." before Raj excitedly told him to pick Wayne. Doing it only to make his boyfriend happy, Bowie sighs and picks Wayne as the second person for his team. When Scary Girl tried to explain how she became "normal" at the voting ceremony, Bowie and Raj were creeped out, as well as the rest of their team. Bowie ended up almost getting out and getting the second last marshmallow, so Raj said "Yes!" as the two smiled at each other when Bowie was confirmed safe.
Taking it to the Rim Reaper[]
In the next episode, Ripper sought advice to ask out Axel, which shocked Bowie, but he told Ripper to be upfront with it, saying it "worked for Raj." In response to that, Raj said that the "best defense is a good offense." When Wayne and Raj decided to slide together, Bowie attempted to stop them, but they ignored him. After the two clogged the slide, Bowie went in after them, but he only became stuck with them.
Fanon[]
Rajbow is one of the more popular ships of Total Drama Island 2023. Fans could be excited due to it being the first canon gay/slash couple in the series. Rajbow is the most popular Raj/Bowie ship, and it is adored by many people. However, recent episodes make fans worried that they could break up. Some people feel pity for Raj since Bowie has been lying to him, yet Bowie seems to only lie to save the relationship. When Chase was voted out, both Bowie and Raj, along with everyone except Julia, smiled at his elimination.
